I wanna start a fan club for this tour because I enjoyed this so much *sparkles* - We had so much fun on this tour with our guide Audrey. She has an amazing vibe and her English is excellent. We felt very comfortable talking with her about pretty much everything and we could learn about Vietnamese history, culture and cultural differences. We also really enjoyed the fact, that the tour is very customisable and we were able to experience so many flavours of Vietnamese cuisine. Because it was very rainy before the tour they even provided rain coats just in case. (We were so lucky, because the rain stopped right before the tour started hehe) She also was very considerate and asked about dietary restrictions. We‘re not actually vegan, but prefer to limit our consumption of animal products, so we didn’t mind that it was more vegetarian than vegan, but I‘m sure that she would have adjusted the tour accordingly. I would recommend you to clearly note that you do not eat eggs and milk etc. when booking this tour if you are vegan though.

5 Star Time - This one was one of the bestest things we did in Hanoi. Our guide Ms. Audrey was so helpful and considerate with all our diet restrictions and could still make us enjoy the Hanoi Street food. Thank you so much for this hands on, personalized, interactive fun time. We went to i think 6 places and tried local delicacies like some dumplings to bread to noodles to sticky rice to desserts. Everyone should opt for this trip atleast once.

Fun, Friendly, Fabulous Food - I booked a Vegan food tour, but wasn't surprised, after reading others reviews, that the group was mixed with another street food tour. This was great, because it meant we got to form a small group and everyone got to eat whatever they liked. Honestly, Sarah was the best guide, it felt just like I was having a night out with a friend. Her coordination of the various stops, the information she provided, questions she answered and her general good humour, made it one of my best nights in Hanoi. I highly recommend this tour.

Vegan street food - Audrey gave such a fabulous tour, her pride and knowledge of her country brought the experience to life. The food was outstanding, so many flavours and textures , all safely in the knowledge that they were vegan. Audrey is an absolute darling

Great guide over-all, would recomment, but it is not a vegan tour and guide did not know what veganism is. - Similar to what is posted on another site where I took this tour in the 2.5hr tip-based version by this same company: The tour is incorrectly titled. It is not a vegan food tour. It is a lacto-ovo vegetarian tour and they do not inform you. The guide seemed to not know that the things with milk and eggs weren't vegan. Outside of this, he was very friendly, very helpful, interesting, a generally great guide! But! It was by sheer luck I did not order or sample more than a tiny bit of another guest's food with milk in it or eat more than a bite of something with egg in it. When finding this out by accident at the end by someone asking about ingredients of a food we were eating and him mentioning egg in it I asked him about earlier foods about egg and milk. He seemed unsure but concluded that only this had had egg and the other milk. If you have been vegan long (and for those unexpectedly reading this that aren't vegan, this might be news as to why this is so important an issue) you know that ingestion of animal products, especially milk, in one amount or another can cause us to become violently ill. After quizzing this tour guide very worriedly, and being unsure of his answer's solidity, it was very sweet of him that he seemed genuinely concerned over this misunderstanding about veganism and what I had eaten bits of and hoping I would be okay. It was a true mistake, he was a great person. The only issue is the danger to vegans when a guide does not know what veganism is and what we can and can't intentionally or safely eat. The guide was lovely and the tour very interesting and pleasant. However, the tour needs renamed and the guide(s) need to know what vegan means.
