A wonderful lunch in the home of a local vietnamese family - Our trip to Ngo Dong River to experience the 3 limestone caves in Tam Coc was interesting, and to end our adventure, we had lunch at a humble vietnamese family home, hosted by mr Khuyen & his shy, but friendly wife & daughter .. We were dropped off outside a pebbled road, and walked past a pond (w fishes) and veg garden .. our lunch for the picking, farm to table .. :)) .. It was a delicious vietnamese homecooked meal .. by mrs khuyen .. we were priviledged to be welcomed into their home .. food was simple, and enjoyable .. we tried to eat everythg, as she kept on dishing out dish after dish .. We were treated to a feast by our host, the Khuyen family .. 💛 .. we were overwhelmed by their hospitality & cld not thk them enuf, and were exchging pleasantries & expressing our appreciation tt we left without taking a pix w them .. mrs Khuyen also presented us w 2 (embroidered) handkerchiefs tt she sewed herself .. :)) ... it was a very good afternoon for us ..
