Vibrant Color - Quang Phu Cau's small display of incense bundles set out to dry in lovely designs is bursting with color. The red and magenta bundles are especially breathtaking. One of the women who sets up the bundles was a ray of joy, smiling and posing for pictures while she worked and with us. We got to see how bamboo is cut into size, how the incense is affixed to the sticks, and the multitude of warehouses storing bundles of bamboo soon to be turned into incense sticks. The drive from Hanoi is one hour each way, through countryside. My friend and I chose a private tour, so it was only us in the car with the guide and driver, enabling us to go at our own pace.

Photojournalists - The length of time was just right, we had enough time at both locations, our guide Bruno explained the process of making the incense sticks in detail and took excellent care of the photos. Nice ending at Train Street (drink is already included). Pick-up from the hotel and return transport was problem-free

Tour experience - We had an amazing experience with this trip. Our tour guide was funy, informative. The incensevillage was impressive, a great place to have photos (make sure to check the weather to have tour. It should be dry weather, NO rain). The train street is also a unique experience. I really recommend this tour.

So beautiful and interesting! - So beautiful and interesting. It's a memorable experience when you wake up early in the morning and buy the most colorful flowers. There are thousands of flowers for your choice. It's hard to bargain in a wholesale market except you buy a large quantity.

I recently booked a... - I recently booked a Viator tour for three people, expecting a comfortable van for our journey. However, our experience fell short of expectations. Despite booking for three persons, we were cramped into the backseat with me seated in the middle, which was incredibly uncomfortable, especially considering I had undergone neck surgery. The 50-minute drive was particularly challenging, and my neck was left hurting by the end of it. In terms of advice for future travelers, I recommend bringing your own bottled water, especially if you're visiting during hot weather, as it can be quite exhausting. Despite the discomfort during the journey, the tour itself was enjoyable. Exploring the train street and the enchanting Incense Village provided a fascinating glimpse into Hanoi's culture and traditions, making the overall experience worthwhile. However, I hope that Viator can improve their transportation arrangements to ensure a more comfortable journey for all travelers.
