Pandora cruise 2day/1night - Victor was great guide, very kind and attentive to our needs and flexible. When the plans have changed he offered us complimentary bus back to Hanoi after the cruise. We did sightseeing with small noat and Victor was very helpfull taking photos of everyone on boat making sure we have good experience, and had fun.

Tour essential if you come to Hanoi - Excursion must if you come to Vietnam. All the boat staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the room right, bed comfortable and clean. The guide who accompanied us during the tour explained in detail all the activities and was also very attentive. Thanks to Victor we had a great time.

A memorable experience with a few considerations - My trip was undoubtedly memorable, though I felt some aspects of the itinerary were a bit rushed. When booking the 2-day, 1-night package, it’s important to note that the first day involves a 2.5-hour bus ride each way, with a 25-minute stopover for restroom breaks and to purchase snacks or drinks. The transfer from the boat to the cruise ship was slow but enjoyable, allowing me to take in the stunning scenery. However, there was a bit of confusion upon arrival at the cruise ship. Only half of the passengers boarded initially, while the other half remained on the boat, which circled the harbour for about 15-20 minutes before returning to the cruise ship. This process felt a little disorganised and could have been handled more efficiently. The food on the cruise ship was excellent, and the rooms were breathtaking. Lying on the bed with a floor-to-ceiling window offering panoramic scenery views was a highlight of the trip. The bathroom was equally impressive, with a large window that allowed me to enjoy the views even while showering. One thing to note is that the drinks at the bar were quite expensive, and there was a significant surcharge for credit card payments. If you’re on a budget, I recommend checking with your tour guide or company beforehand to avoid surprises. The small boat trip through the caves was beautiful, though it was crowded with tourists, and the wait time was a bit long. Similarly, the morning Tai Chi session on the top deck was a serene way to start the day, and I was grateful that our group went kayaking early before the crowds from other cruise ships arrived. It did get chaotic later, so I’d recommend starting activities as early as possible to avoid the rush. I was too tired on the first day to do the squid fishing. Unfortunately, my room was right under deck 3, which is where all the passengers gathered to socialise. That was a bit noisy with those doing the karaoke, but otherwise, when everyone retired to their rooms just after 9.30 pm, it was mostly quiet. The comfortable bed and pillows made the sleep worthwhile :-) Overall, it was a wonderful experience with stunning views and luxurious accommodations, but a few adjustments to the schedule and logistics could make it even better. Our tourguide Yummy, was helpful and had a lovely and funny personality, appreciating his efforts during this trip. Thanks Yummy!

Amazing staff and picturesque overnight cruise - We had a great time on this overnight trip. All the staff were amazing - nothing was ever a problem and they always had a smile. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and made sure that we all were having a good time. The only negative thing for us was that our room was directly behind the exhaust of the engine and had a very strong diesel exhaust smell, and when the engine was running it was not possible to be outside on the balcony. I think was just bad luck for us as there was no diesel exhaust smell elsewhere on the boat. Definitely recommend this trip.

If I had made the trip together, there would be 5 points. The constriction in the cabin results in points being deducted. - The embarkation, food and drinks were impeccable. Just the way it's supposed to be. Only the canteen did not in reality correspond to the one in the photo of Tripadvisor. We were 3 men who got a cabin for 2 people. To accommodate everyone, an extra bed was put in. That was pretty tight then. Shower, toilet were as it should be.

Not the 5-star experience we had booked - First of all, the staff on the cruise were excellent and made our overnight stay really good and we enjoyed the food and activities. Unfortunately, however, the communication beforehand and the transfer to and from Hanoi was definitely not the 5-star experience we had booked. Not only that but the boat was nothing like the pictures we’d seen and based our booking decision on.

Private balcony was a public walkway - The room we booked was supposed to have a private balcony but this turned out to be a public walkway. When we complained the manager told us he contacted head office and they would contact us. This has never happened and we are now 5 days after the trip. Will be writing to them when we are back in the UK.
