- Ninh Binh Mountain Side Homestay & Cafe - Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant in the Trang An area, featuring Asian-style cuisine, local dishes, and organic vegetables. Relax and savor the meal before continuing the journey to Trang An.
- Trang An Landscape Complex - After lunch, embark on a rowing boat journey at Trang An Scenic Landscapes, a breathtaking natural wonder with majestic limestone massifs rising from rice paddies. Glide on a traditional sampan through the serene river and explore numerous caves, including Hang Toi (Dark) Cave, Sang (Light) Cave, and Hang Nau Ruou (Cooking Wine) Cave. Each passage reveals new surprises and hidden mysteries within tranquil, isolated valleys.
- Mua Caves - (OPTIONAL activity: This can be skipped if there are back issues or health concerns. Tickets are available on-site for 4 USD or 100,000 VND). Arrive at Mua Cave and embark on an exhilarating hike up 500 steps to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain for a breathtaking view of the rice valley and natural beauty. The cave, meaning ‘Cave of Dance,’ offers panoramic views from the summit. A stone staircase zigzags through the karst, leading to a simple altar to Quan Am (the Goddess of Mercy). Look west to see the Ngo Dong River winding through Tam Coc. The climb is paved but steep, so bring water and allow an hour for the round trip. Return to the bus for the journey back to Hanoi.
