Day 1: Hanoi - Pu Luong

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - 7:00 – Guests are picked up from their hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter to begin the journey to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and check in. Relax during your free time.
In the afternoon, embark on a trek to Kho Muong Village & Bat Cave. The trek begins along a small path near traditional Thai stilt houses, leading to stunning views of the endless rice terraces. As you reach the hilltop, the village of Kho Muong comes into view, revealing its unique charm. After exploring the village, proceed to the cave entrance. Cave visits are subject to weather conditions.

Day 2: Pu Luong - Ninh Binh

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - 7:30 - Start the day with an early breakfast to prepare for an exciting day ahead. After checking out, board the van to the trek’s starting point. On Thursdays and Sundays, visit the local Pho Doan market.
You’ll be dropped off at the trek’s starting point. Enjoy free time at the waterfall, followed by lunch at a homestay.
In the afternoon, take a car to the afternoon trek’s starting point. Discover the Thai ethnic minority’s ingenious agricultural system, including bamboo waterwheels. The day concludes with a peaceful bamboo boat ride. Adapted for tourism, locals still use the boat to visit other homes or fields.
Bid farewell to the stunning Pu Luong Nature Reserve and begin the journey to Ninh Binh, known as Halong Bay on land. Upon arrival at the lodge, relax by the pool or on the terrace, soaking in the serene atmosphere.

Day 3: Ninh Binh

Ninh Binh - 07:00 - Breakfast at the lodge

08:00 - Cycle to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. In the 10th century, this ancient Vietnamese capital was home to the emperors of the Dinh, Tien Le, and Ly dynasties. Experience a journey through time at this remarkable site.
Hoa Lu Ancient Capital is not only a valuable historical site but also a significant tourist attraction, offering visitors the chance to admire both breathtaking historical landscapes and unique architectural values from a bygone era.

12:00 - Enjoy a local lunch

13:30 - Embark on a relaxing tour of the UNESCO site of Trang An. Delight in a boat tour through a stunning landscape of karst peaks covered by jungle, passing through caves and observing temples. This is a world apart and a unique destination in Vietnam.
Experience a serene boat trip with breathtaking views and rich history, featuring perfectly preserved architecture.

16:30 - Return to the Ecolodge for free time

19:00 - Dinner at the lodge and a peaceful evening

Day 4: Ninh Binh - Halong Bay

Halong Bay - 06:30 - 06:45 - Check out and bid farewell to the beautiful Ninh Binh.
The bus will pick you up at the lodge to begin the transfer to the pier for cruise registration. A takeaway breakfast will be provided.

11:30 - Arrive and check in for the cruise

12:00 - Registration and enjoy a welcome drink on the boat during the safety briefing before lunch. During this time, the boat departs from the tourist area and enters Lan Ha Bay, an extension of Halong Bay. The cruise passes by several small islets amidst hundreds of karst peaks. Visit a cave in double kayaks and stop for a swim in the bay’s clear waters.

16:00 - 18:00 - Free time to enjoy the boat and cabin. While cruising to the overnight anchorage in a tranquil bay, relax on the upper deck and watch the sunset.

18:00 - Attend a cooking demonstration by the professional onboard chef

19:00 - Dinner and a peaceful evening on the junk

Day 5: Halong Bay - Hanoi

Halong Bay - Rise early to start your perfect day with a Tai Chi class or watch the sunrise from the top deck. Alternatively, the gym offers a great view of the sunrise. A light breakfast is served in the restaurant.
Explore Lan Ha Bay, Vietnam’s most beautiful natural bay. Enjoy leisure time kayaking around Lan Ha Bay. Then, check out and have brunch in the restaurant as the boat sails back to the pier.
