Day 1: Hanoi to Sapa by Bus with Extended Trek to Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, and Ta Van Village (L, D)

Ta Van - 6:30 – 7:00 AM: Guests are picked up from their hotel and board a large bus heading to Sapa Town.

9:30 AM: Travel along the highway to Lao Cai city, with the first rest stop.

11:00 AM: Second rest stop in Lao Cai city before continuing to Sapa.

1:00 PM: Arrive in Sapa Town, greeted by the vibrant traditional attire of the H’Mong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic groups.

Enjoy a welcome drink and receive an itinerary briefing.

Savor a lunch featuring local Vietnamese cuisine.

2:15 PM: Take a short drive to Y Linh Ho, then trek through rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai, witnessing the breathtaking Hoang Lien Son Mountain landscape. Reach Ta Van village, home to the Giay Ethnic People, by late afternoon.

The trek covers approximately 9 km and takes about 3.5 hours.

5:45 PM: Check into a homestay and meet the Dzay family. Enjoy the mountain lifestyle at sunset. Participate in cooking local dishes with the family and relish a peaceful dinner. In the evening, visit a nearby local bar with music to socialize with other travelers, then spend the night at The Yen Homestay in Ta Van village.

Medium Trek from Ta Van to Giang Ta Chai Village, Sapa, and Return to Hanoi (B, L)

Giang Ta Chai Village - 8:00 AM: Enjoy breakfast prepared by the host family and begin a new day with an exciting trek.

8:45 AM: Continue walking to the rice paddies for a photo opportunity of the stunning landscapes. Trek through the bamboo forest and pause for a panoramic view of Giang Ta Chai village, home to the Red Dzao People.

The trek covers approximately 4 km and takes about 2 hours.

11:00 AM: Cross the Giang Ta Chai Bridge to the main road, where a bus will pick you up to return to Sapa Town.

12:00 - 12:30 PM: Freshen up with a shower at the hotel and check out.

12:30 – 1:30 PM: Enjoy lunch.

1:30 – 2:45 PM: Relax and enjoy leisure time.

2:45 – 3:00 PM: Gather with the group at the hotel to prepare for the journey back to Hanoi.

3:30 PM: Board the bus to return to Hanoi, with two rest stops along the way.

9:15 PM: Farewell at your hotel. The trip concludes.
