Sapa adventure. - It was much harder than I had expected. But it was a good experience to see SAPA from the eyes of a local. Some portion was really steep and slippery. Make sure you have the right hiking shoes. It was wet and muddy for sone parts. Five hours of trekking the first day and three hours the second day. If you can handle the physical challenge, it would be a very good cultural experience. It was bad that the tour ended with the bus ride back delaying by two hours because some passengers failed to show up. The whole bus full of passengers were waiting for a few missing ones. I think the bus’s waiting policy is not structured.

An unforgetable experience - An unforgettable experience. Trekking through the scenic landscape, and taking in the views of rice fields, bamboo forrest and mountain villages was breathtaking and unforgettable. The homestay of Mama Zuzu was really a nice break after long hours of trekking up and down the mountains, and the meals was very tasty. Entertainment by the other household members was also very fun and we stayed in a nice room. The bed was a bit hard for our liking, and the homestay does only have a single toilet which can be a challenge for bigger groups. Mama Zuzu was a very good guide and storyteller, who explained a lot about the life in and around Sapa. We were also joined along the way by other women, who - of course - did have local products to sell in their backpacks. But they were also friendly and good at explaining - a bit limited english though.

Mama Zuzu, the best tour guide I’ve ever had! - Our trip to Sapa was one of the highlights of my trip to Vietnam. The trekking tour through vietnams beautiful nature was tough, but so worth it! I saw beautiful nature and woods and if I had to do it all over again, I DEFINITELY WOULD! The home stay was very nice as well. Beautiful house, WiFi and bathroom with shower. I would definitely recommend this trip to everyone! Mama Zuzu made this trip amazing. She made people bond, she seemed passionate about her work and she showed a genuine interest in people’s lives. Mama Zulu’s neighbour is also one of the most delightful people I have met. I recommend this to everyone!

MAMAZUZU, without hesitation! - Mamazuzu is an extraordinary host! She immerses you in the wonderful landscapes of Sapa, and integrates you into her family for an evening and a night. She embodies kindness and generosity. If I have the pleasure to return to Sapa, it is definitely at Mamazuzu that my trip will take me. A big thank you!!

Unique experience - I'll try to give you some information that's not mentioned in my opinion: First the bus from Hanoi to Sapa very comfortable and the driver picked us up outside our hotel in a taxi before taking us to the big bus Arrive 1:30 p.m., very good hearty meal before starting the walk with our guide (You can leave your backpacks/suitcases in a safe place and collect them at the end of the stay) The walk is about 12km and is mainly on flat even if strong ascents/descents are also present. After 2 hours of walking, the guide Mama Zuzu left us the choice and we opted for the nature path, what a sublime choice it was a real adventure! Arriving at the house which is beautiful and comfortable, a warm welcome from the whole family and an excellent meal handmade by the family (watch out for the "Happy Water" from Mama Neyo 😉) After the meal, we were provided with towels to shower and then we went to bed (the perfect room, clean, comfort, electrical outlet, wifi and duvet at will...) Breakfast top (coffee, fresh fruit, pancakes...), walk as the day before 10km, excellent lunch too! In short, it was a wonderful experience with a guide and an exceptional and generous host family it was a great moment of sharing! (Too bad because of the fog we couldn’t admire the scenery... it’s part of the game...)
