Inviting roads wind down to the valley floor, where white-water rivers flow through rice fields, and verdant mountains extend into the horizon. The region’s tallest peak, Mount Fansipan, majestically rises above the town.
- Y Linh Ho - Y Linh Ho Village is nestled at the base of a hill, approximately 7 kilometers southwest of Sapa. Surrounded by the impressive Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range, this village is inhabited by the H’Mong and Dao communities. To visit, follow the path through Muong Hoa Valley towards Lao Chai Village. The short distance between Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai makes it easy to explore both villages and enjoy the stunning beauty of Sapa’s countryside in Vietnam.
The village is named after its founder, Mr. Ly Linh Ho. Since its inception, it has been home to the Dao community. Although the H’Mong people settled later, the original name was retained to honor the founder.
- Ta Van Village - Situated in Muong Hoa Valley in Lao Cai Province, Ta Van Village is a favored spot for those exploring Sapa. The village is notable for its diverse ethnic composition, with the Giay, Hmong, and Red Dao ethnic groups coexisting peacefully. Surrounded by terraced rice fields, the village benefits both practically and aesthetically. The terraces optimize the use of limited arable land in the mountainous area for rice cultivation, while also creating a stunning landscape, particularly during the lush green growing season.
