• Hanoi Opera House - At 8:00 am, a tour guide and vehicle from Paradise Indochina Travel will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Tho Ha village. If you do not have a hotel address or prefer not to have hotel pickup, please meet the guide and driver at the Hanoi Opera House. During the journey, the bus will pass by rice fields and vegetable farms, offering a wonderful opportunity to capture scenic countryside photos, including farmers with water buffalo.
• Tho Ha Village - At 09:30, arrive at the local ferry and board to cross the river to reach Tho Ha village. Stroll around to explore a small, yet typical market of Northern Vietnam. You will quickly gain an understanding of the culture by observing the people and sampling some local delicacies.

09:30 Visit local families to learn more about their culture and daily activities, such as rice paper making and rice wine production.
10:30 Take a look at Tho Ha Communal House, which is associated with the Banian tree, a well, and a communal yard. The tour guide will provide a brief introduction to the village’s culture and historical lifestyle.

11:00 Visit a charming, ancient house of a local resident, which is over 100 years old. While most of the exterior has been refurbished, the ceiling and decorative wall pictures remain nearly 100 years old. This family continues the traditional craft of hand-making rice paper, unlike most families in the area who now use electric machines for production.

• Hanoi Opera House - After lunch, enjoy Vietnamese tea with the host before returning to Hanoi. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the morning meeting place, concluding the trip.

The community of Tho Ha then shifted their primary means of living to creating rice paper and pig rearing. Consequently, the practice of pottery was slowly phased out, resulting in the discontinuation of traditional pottery production.
