Relish the panoramic views before embarking on a 700-meter trek to Khau Lan Waterfall for a refreshing swim (weather permitting). Next, visit a coffee shop at Heaven’s Gate, followed by a short hike to a viewpoint overlooking the Fairy Hills, Tam Son town, and its lush rice fields.
Enjoy lunch in Tam Son at 12:00 p.m., then proceed to Duong Thuong Village for a photo opportunity. Arrive in Du Gia by late afternoon and conclude the day with a delightful dinner at a local homestay, accompanied by the renowned “Happy Water” beer.

Meo Vac - DAY 2: (~120km) Du Gia - Mau Due-Meo Vac – Dong Van (B,L,D)
Pause at a former French military post to capture some photos of the surrounding area. After another fifteen kilometers, we’ll stop at a coffee shop where you can enjoy a beautiful landscape featuring terraced rice fields and stunning layers of rocky limestone mountains.
Lunch will be in Meo Vac town at 12:00 p.m.
Next, embark on a boat trip to admire the breathtaking scenery of the Nho Que River and the magnificent beauty of Tu San Alley, renowned as the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia. As you journey along the river, you’ll experience one of the most beautiful passes in Vietnam: Ma Pi Leng Pass, also known as “The Road of Happiness,” which lies along National Road 4C.
Before arriving in Dong Van district, we’ll stop to enjoy the panoramic views from the Sky Walk, one of the highest points on Ma Pi Leng Pass.
At night, we’ll stay locally in the area, allowing us to fully appreciate the scenery rather than just passing through.

Yen Minh - After breakfast, we’ll head southeast towards the Vietnam-China border, where our guide will share captivating stories. We’ll stop at Thien Huong Village, nearly 200 years old, before reaching the Lung Cu Flag Pole for a short hike and scenic photos. Next, we’ll have lunch at Lo Lo Chai Village, known for its traditional H’mong clay houses.
Post-lunch, we’ll visit the H’mong King’s Palace to delve into the tribe’s rich history. Then, we’ll capture photos at Tham Ma Pass, famous for its cliffs and geosites, with a “try not to fall” challenge for cyclists. Before reaching Nam Dam Village, we’ll pause at Can Ty Pass for coffee, offering panoramic views and showcasing the Dao people’s culture.
We’ll end the day with a delicious dinner and overnight stay in Nam Dam Village.
Day 4: (~100km ) Nam Dam -Quan Ba- Ha Giang ( B,L,D )
Quan Ba - We’ll start the day with a 4-kilometer hike to Lung Khuy Cave, helping you burn approximately 326 calories and work off some of last night’s meal. The area around the cave features a stunning karst landscape, including peaks, dolines, hanging valleys, and travertine terraces, all situated at an elevation of 850 to 1,100 meters above sea level. As you explore the cave, you’ll be serenaded by the soothing melody of water dripping from the ceiling.
After burning those calories, it will be time for lunch in Quan Ba District to replenish your energy before heading back to Ha Giang.
