Best Tour Company in Roatan!!! Look no further! - I would love to start by saying this is THE BEST tour company in Honduras! If you're trying to decide who to go with--look no further! Lashan was so incredibly helpful on the front end, as we were deciding which tour to go with. She answered all of our questions right away! When we arrived in Honduras it was quite a rainy morning. The team waiting for us offered us umbrellas and stayed with us until our driver was ready. Angel, our driver, was INCREDIBLE!!! He was so fun, so incredibly friendly and was a wonderful tour guide! We had the best time at AJ's Sloths and Monkeys. We were celebrating my son's 13th birthday. Once the team found out, they surprised us with a cake, t-shirt, and sang him Happy Birthday. He felt so special and celebrated. Angel went out of his way to take us to local places that most tourists wouldn't know about. He was so knowledgeable about the area because he had grown up there! I wish I could give a higher rating than just 5 stars--this company deserves 10!!!! Their hospitality is out of this world!

Best tour company in Roatan! - From the first contact with Lashan to book our tour (who was so helpful and made it so easy), to meeting our contact person at the cruise terminal (who stayed with us and held umbrellas over our heads while our driver brought the car around), to Angel our driver....I can't say enough good things about this company and how great they all were! Angel was very knowledgeable about the area since he grew up there and was more than willing to take us places to experience things most tourists don't even know about! We enjoyed our stop at AJ's Sloths and Monkeys so very much! The staff there were so knowledgeable about the animals and made sure our grandkids had the time of their lives!! At one of our stops, Lashan the owner, met us and surprised our grandson who was celebrating his 13th birthday, with a birthday cake and a t-shirt! They were all so sweet and made his day extra special. Trip Advisor only gives me the option of 5 stars as the highest rating, but if I could give 10 stars I certainly would!

Best Tour Ever! We love Honduras and Arnie. - We coordinated a private tour with Roatan Breakaway Tours while we were in Honduras on a cruise. From communication booking the tour to the actual tour day - everything was smooth and perfect! Arnie was our tour guide and he was the best tour guide I have ever had on a tour and I have done a lot of cruise tours. Lashan coordinated our tour and answered all my questions via email the same day I sent her an email. I felt so comfortable taking this tour outside of the cruiseline. We had a big group of 13 family members with one person on a electric mobility scooter and Arnie was more than happy to accommodate us. He went above and beyond to make sure our group members were happy and had everything we needed. I would use this tour company again if I was ever in Honduras again. I 100% recommend them to everyone!! A+++++

Wonderful tour in Roatan - We had a great tour with Lindy on New Year’s Eve. We loved the monkey and sloth interaction. Our grandkids - 4 and 6 - were mesmerized by the up close and personal experience - and the adults loved it too! We then did a snorkel tour which was a lot of fun and the group on the boat was of a manageable size. We ended our tour on Brady’s Cay which was delightful. Our only issue was the time it took to order food on Brady’s Cay. It was over an hour from the time we ordered to the time the food arrived and when it finally arrived we only had minutes to east before we had to leave to return to our cruise ship. Pro tip: Order immediately upon arriving at Brady’s Cay of you want food.

Roatan Island Tour - The port area was crazy with multiple ships in port but finding our tour guide was easy. Once we met up we had a great conversation with Shonna, explained our wishes and she took us on an awesome adventure hitting everything on our wish list. I highly recommend this tour company and a special shout out to Shonna as a wonderful guide and even better person!

Roatan Breakaway Helped Us Break Away! - Lashan was terrific at communicating with me prior to booking and working with our group from 10-79 yrs of age. Enrique met us after disembarking our cruise and drove us around in a private air conditioned van. We started our day off doing ziplines. The guides at the place were so fun and engaging- teaching my sons how to do flips and tricks on ziplines. Afterward we went to visit the sloths and monkeys - and though very crowded - they made sure we didn’t leave without getting the photos we wanted. Enrique then drove us to chocolate factory and then up to a beautiful scenic place for photos overlooking the bay and to sample rum. We were tourists for the day, and really enjoyed our day visiting the pretty lush island. Thank you Roatan breakaway Tours for your flexibility!

Amazing tour and guide! - I love this tour! Ernie is an amazing tour guide. He’s kind and knowledgeable. The tour is a private one on one tour, no big groups or waiting in line. I highly recommend this tour and guide.

Best excursion of our vacation! - My husband and I had a private tour with Lashan, the owner/manager of Roatan Breakaway Tours. Everything was amazing, professional and well organized. We received clear communications along with a map for our meeting place at the port. Our private tour included a stop at a chocolate store, rum store and a local souvenir shop. We stopped to hold the sloth and hung out with the monkeys in their cage. So much fun! Afterwards we went the West Bay to spend a few hours at the Infinity Bay Resort. Included in our fees was a free appetizer, free entree, 3 drinks (alcohol or non-alcohol) and use of the pool and beach areas for each of us. The beach was beautiful and the water so clear. Many people told us it was a beautiful place to snorkel, but we passed and will do that next time! On our way back to port Lashan stopped at the Roatan sign for photos along with a few scenic mountain top photo ops! The entire time Lashan was friendly, talking to us about her island and answering our questions along the way. We felt safe during our visit too. The car doors were kept locked if we went into a store and she waited for us at the resort until we were ready to go a few hours later. She was sure to have plenty of time to get us back to the ship with time to spare. We cruised for 15 days and had several ports to visit...this was our favorite of all this vacation. I highly recommend Roatan Breakaway Tours and remember, they will customize your tour so you can do what you like and prefer not to do. The only downfall was is that we wished we had more time on the island, maybe another visit will be in our future.

Great Day in Roatan - JJ was friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the island. The sloth sanctuary and chocolate factory were a hit. JJ was extremely patient and accommodating when we asked to go off the beaten path for lunch. Great meal on the water, where the locals eat. The vehicle was nice, clear and air conditioned. Our entire family was very happy with this tour… including the teenagers.

5 star experience, great company! - Lashan was our guide and she was amazing!! She took us anywhere we wanted to go and even had some recommended stops. The monkey and sloth stop was amazing and since we had a private tour we had much more time to spend with the animals without the crowds. Would definitely recommend any of the tours that Roatan Breakaway has. It's family owned and run and we were able to meet most of the family on our tour. Great people!!
