Perfect excursion for traveling beer nerds! - Who knew Hong Kong had such a burgeoning craft beer scene! First we went to Young Master who showed us around the facility and offered a number of samples from a variety of styles. My favorite was their classic take on a Brut IPA. Next was HK Brewcraft, a beer store / contract brewer, where we sampled a few unique beers from Heroes Beer Co. Last stop was at Little Creatures, a brewpub, where we had a flight of beers and stayed afterwards for dinner. If you love beer and are visiting HK, put this on your must-do list. Virginia put together a fabulous tour for the traveling beer nerd!

Excellent Hong Kong Brewery(s) Tour - Decided to do this for my Birthday Weekend in Hong Kong, and couldn't have been happier with my decision. The tour was well-organized and fun, visiting three different breweries over the course of the afternoon. Although I brought along two friends, the extended groups itself was fun, a nice mixture of people both living and visiting Hong Kong. The respective breweries were all good choices, creating for a great overall afternoon, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to find out more about the Hong Kong Craft Beer scene...

Amazing brewery and drink tour! - Thanks lot for the amazing tour! We know now lot more about the Hong Kong craft beer. Mak‘s Brewery is super nice venue with very friendly owner and super tasty beer, we got it directly from the tank. The atmosphere at Mak‘s brewery is very familiar, they also have even small kicker for playing football. At HK Brewcraft we only tasted few beer and it’s more a shop than brewery. But usually they will show you how to brew beer, but we spent too much time at Mak’s brewery with beer drinking, so came too late for the beer brew instruction/training. The last stop was at Little Creatures, it’s an very huge restaurant/bar which also includes an brewery. Beer and food was also very tasty! Thanks lot Virginia for organising the tour 😉👌🏻

Best alternative to the usual tourist spots and island tours! - I was traveling solo for business and had a free day on Saturday. I've been to most of the tourist spots on the island and nearby, so I searched for something different to fill up the day. Wow - what a nice surprise to find this tour! Not only do you get to experience something that Hong Kong is not usually known for, but you get to explore a bit of the island and you're exposed to some of the best craft beers in the world. I had so much fun with Virginia and my two other tour mates, we decided to go out to dinner afterwards. Definitely at tour I'd recommend, especially for the beer enthusiast.

A belly full of ale - Had an awesome day/evening with our guides. Even though I live in Hong Kong I still learnt a ton about the local beers on offer here, and from a far. Highly recommended for all and bring your drinking cap!

Fantastic Tour! - Had an amazing time, one of the highlights of our trip! Virginia and Ida were fantastic tour guides and hosts. I have been to many craft breweries in the USA and I wanted to see how the Hong Kong breweries and tour compared. We were not disappointed! The tour itself covered three breweries and included information on the craft beer process and plenty of samples. I liked that the breweries we visited were all different and showed a unique aspect of the Hong Kong craft beer scene. Breweries visited were Young Master, Black Kite and Little Creatures. In addition to providing local information on the breweries, Virginia and Ida shared about Hong Kong and made the group feel very comfortable. In fact, we all stayed together after the tour and enjoyed dinner, great conversation, and of course.. more beer! All in all, it was a great time, well worth the cost, and one of our favorite Hong Kong experiences!

Highly enjoyable craft beer brewery tour in Hong Kong! - I greatly enjoy the tour led by Virginia, it was very well planned and well thought out. An easy tour for those who are already craft beer experts and those just experimenting and starting out like myself. Would recommend this evening out to catch a few beers and know the people behind the scenes in HK craft beer. I particularly enjoyed the beers which normally would not have tried like IPL and chilly beers. Glad to have met Sean, Kenneth and Boris this time round. cheers!

Yay craft beer tour! Happy Hours with friends. - Craft beer is the trendy thing to drink. Having a cup whilst getting the tour was pretty nice. We were a group of 4 friends that went on a nice sunny afternoon. About the tour, First we went to Black Kite, who does all the brewing on one small unit in a factory building in Wong Chuk Hang area. The guy was pretty informative, and explained the process of how they brew beer and what to put in it. We had tasters of the various beers they have bottled there, of which the most interesting was the Bacon beer (which contains no bacon actually!) Some flavours are seasonal or avail for temporary periods. Next we went to Young Masters, also in Wong Chuk Hang, which was massive and the staff said they had 2 factories. This place is very retro as their brand and had a chill out area, which one of the owners was chilling at. We took a look at their huge tanks quickly and quickly went to their chill area where beers were served on tap! We had about 4, 5 glasses which were generously portions like a single order of wine. I didn't think much of their IPAs which were bitter, but their Cha Chaan Teng Gose was interesting, tasting like some salt preserved lemon. They also sell big pitchers of these stuff for takeaway here. 3rd stop was a bit further at Kennedy Town on the way back to civilisation from these factory areas. The place was a restaurant called Little Creatures, apparently famous around Australia. They have some fresh cider machine at the bar that I've never seen before, it can fit other fruits in there to get their flavours. They would only have a few beer tanks behind the bar, as the place is mostly restaurant. This is where you can get craft beer on tap which is very rare in Hong Kong. The beer sampler was impressive with 6 types of ales. I prefer the lighter beers to the ales, but crazy flavours here. The brewer who explained the company's history also threw in some snacks. Now that feels like happy hour drinks. That's all the tour had included. Since the bar/restaurant was quite nice, we decided to stay for dinner as well. So basically from someone who just knew beer is beer and knew zero about craft beer, I'm happy as long as there's enough drinks evenly spread across the afternoon. I do like the odd flavour ones, which seems like only available at smaller braver breweries. I wouldn't recommend this to only craft beer lovers, I would recommend this to people who like to drink beer in the afternoon (must be with friends!). It is relaxing not hectically fast pace. Just felt like few hours of happy hour.

Had an amazing time on this tour... -
Had an amazing time on this tour with Virginia! We went to several different stops and tried some amazing different beers! Virginia knew a lot about Hong Kong, the breweries and beer in general. I went with a friend of mine and if there was a beer that we really didn't care for she would find an alternative. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone going to Hong Kong who enjoys different beers and the small craft brewery scene.

Virginia was prompt, with very good communication and a great personality. We had a wonderful time!
