Very pleasant experience - It is a very pleasant journey, the views vary from city buildings and ocean till green mountains and the Big Buddha at the end. Is a cabin for minimum of 7 persons, however you can pay a private cabin too. Make sure your card is accepted in HK or get AlipayHk or bring cash, otherwise last option is to buy online which is a little bit more expensive.

Longest cable car ride!!! - We enjoyed doing the Cable Car ride both ways when we visited Lantau Island. It is best to take the Crystal Cabin while going and the normal cabin while cabin which makes it cost effective and you get great views with Crystal Cabin as its transparent all sides. It is one the longest cable car ride and must do when going to Hong Kong.

Go early! - Booked tickets directly online and got there just before they opened. Glad we did as there was already a significant queue. There were people selling tickets to people lined up and although they of course were seeing genuine tickets be mindful that they are independent sellers not connected to the official operating company and do sell them for a mark up fee. Unless you can afford your own car or are a party of 10 people you can expect to share with strangers. It was cosy in there and a bit of luck of what views you can experience in and around other people. They kept the glass clean, especially the transparent floored cars. It’s a relatively long ride up with at times some very high heights and some great views of Hong Kong Airport. Prices are reasonable and the team do all they can to keep the lines moving.

Glass bottom cable car is worth it - We really enjoyed this experience and would do it again in better weather. The day we chose was pouring rain and the only saving part was that we had booked one of the glass bottom cable cars so that did allow us to look down. The Big Buddha was very impressive. After climbing the 268 stone steps were happy to find that you could then go inside the Big Buddha and it was dry. Would recommend, but not in the pouring rain.

Fun, no bs - For me, everything was good. Could not, at all, understand the people that worked there speaking Chinese because I am unfortunately just a visitor. Albeit that isn't my problem... It's just the experience could've been more, not counting the cable car ride because it was exhilarating.

Obstructed View - The view was very poor as it was obstructed by advertisements plastered on the windows. Whilst standing is encouraged, and views were more visible, childrens' viewing experience is greatly negatively affected. Many of the other cable cars we passed did not have so much of the window real estate taken by such obscene amounts of advertisements.

Worst cable car experience I've ever had - The lines are terrible. You make it to enter a 2 hour queue. To get back down another two-hour line. In total it took 4 hours to use this blessed cable car. The waste of time is brutal. I don't recommend it at all. Get off the bus. Photo taken in the queue I'm doing right now.

Don’t take, waiting time 1 hour - Dont do, the cable Car Single Trip Standard Cabin is about 25$ ( US Dollar) and take at least 45 -60 waiting time in the queue, the Cristal Cabin isn’t about 45$ pro person pro ride, like really expensive, waiting time to long, actually there is a bus ( 23) every 20-30 minutes better and cheaper

Not recommended!! - There were a lot of queues, but the queues were so chaotic that I didn't know where I should line up! No staff guidance, no exact signage! And the job service was unprofessional, asking the staff which team I held the ticket to queue for, and the two staff told different answers. It's very frustrating to have to reorder mistakes.
