BEST WHALE WATCHING, GREAT PRICE - You will NOT regret booking this tour! Dennis was very fun and light hearted, interacted with all the people on board and was VERY knowledgeable about where to find whales and other wildlife. They pick you up in a stretch limo, shuttle you to the boat and shuttle you back. They offer small snacks and water on board, but you can take your own. We saw at least a dozen whales, what an adventure! As for the negative reviews that I read... the bathrooms- people, this is a fishing boat, NOT a luxury cruise liner! The bathroom is VERY clean and they offer hand sanitizer. For the person who said Dennis wasn't very tolerable of the kid who wasn't listening...I would not have been either! Although this is a VERY safe thing to do, there are risks of you do not listen and head the safety rules. And I'm sure Dennis would feel awful if something happened to someone on his boat. Therfore if you have unruly children or don't know how to keep your kids under control, don't take them on this tour. Or any other tour for that matter. Thank you Dennis and Bill for an ABSOLUTE wonderful time!

whale watching - we saw a number of whales and sea lions so overall it was a fun tour.. the down side for us was some unpleasant passangers which of course wasnt the fault of the company

A magnificent Monday in Hoonah! - We had an amazing whale watching experience with Dennis, Bill, and Crystal today, Monday 23 September! Pick up was easy and seamless. The onboard crew was incredibly kind, friendly, and informative, creating the perfect atmosphere for safely and carefully getting up close to these majestic creatures. Their energy and passion made the trip truly unforgettable.

Incredible whale watching - Booked this whale watching boat ride through Viator instead of our cruise line and it was our favorite excursion! They texted us pick-up directions the day before which were clear and easy to follow. We even got picked up in a limo! We were fortunate enough to only have 5 other people on our ride which made the entire experience even better. Captain Dennis was communicating with the other boats to see where the whales were. We were lucky enough to see humpbacks and orcas! Captain Dennis and his entire team at Catch of the Day were amazing. Don’t hesitate to book with them!

AWESOME!!!!! - It was a wonderful experience. Cruising along, getting ready to go faster and a whale popped up right in front of the boat. Look on Captains face was priceless. Saw whales, sea lions, puffins, eagles, and binoculars bear. Very nice excursion

Worth your money - Captains Dennis and Mike were very informative, got to see humpback whales, harbor seals and a couple grizzly bears. Really enjoyed the small amount of people onboard, not crowded like some of the other excursions we have done.

A day we will never forget - An amazing trip with Captain Dennis and Captain Bill. We headed to where some were seen and then stopped ahead and they just came towards us. Saw numerous humpbacks so close to the boat we could have reached out and touched them. Then even though we had been out ages, Dennis also took us to see orcas. Also saw sea otters. Dennis and Bill were very knowledgeable and very personable. Good communications beforehand and throughout the booking process. Easy to follow joining instructions. We booked this because better value than same trip off cruise ship and also because we wanted a smaller sized tour. Can highly recommend - Dennis and Bill, thank you, you were fabulous.

Do this tour you won’t regret it ! - We went out with Captain Dennis and Captain Billy it was amazing we seen a pod of 12-13 humpback whales that were right near our boat, lots of Sea Otters, when we were leaving Dennis got told there were killer whales in another spot oh my God they were right next to our boat as well it was a sight to behold . Thanks Dennis and Billy your tour was the best

Perfect - I wouldn’t go with anyone else. This is a husband/wife team who are fun, honest, reliable people. They make sure a great experience is provided. We saw whales, otters, and great views. It was a great experience!
