Don’t miss it - We loved this museum. It had displays for each decade including a nursery, living room, and kitchens from different decades. The 70s was all orange and brown and the kitchen was all red plastic. Extra exhibits were also on show and the phone and radio sections as well as the Lego were very interesting. We took the audio tour and it told us a bit about all the exhibits in English. This was one of the highlights of our holiday

Wow, what memories can you find there - A very nice and perfectly decorated museum. It is a feast of recognition especially for people who grew up in this century. It is highly recommended and also worth going back.

Beautiful time travel - Very nice time travel through the past century. The exhibition is divided into different thematic areas. Be sure to use the audio guide (available in several languages). Finally, a really cheap coffee and a piece of cake in the restaurant complete the visit. The Lego exhibition is not a subject area that interests me and should have been a little smaller for my taste. But those who enjoy the stones get to see a lot here.

An extraordinary museum - A magnificent museum that took us back to childhood for the games and toys part. A tour with or without audio guide is possible. There is a lot to see, to discover. We were lucky enough to have an additional 90 years of Lego exhibition. The visit lasts between 1h and 2h depending on each but everything is very interesting. A toilet is available upstairs as well as on the ground floor. The snack part is a bit expensive to eat on site. A small souvenir shop at a decent price.

Lego land very worthwhile - Currently there is a very cool exhibition about Lego and its development over the years. There is also a shuttle bus between museum and car park and or train station. Credit to this initiative!

A pleasant and really interesting museum in Hoorn - The Lego section is great for kids. The museum is run entirely by volunteers. The lady in the Lego section - her name is Wills- is really wonderful with kids.

Back in time - After we parked the car in the Nieuwe Wal parking lot, we were picked up by a shuttle bus. On the way to the museum, the driver told us something about the history of Hoorn. A wonderful start. When we arrived at the museum, two ladies welcomed us. One of the ladies received our printed tickets, the other lady explained the route to follow. The permanent exhibition brought our memories back into focus; the living rooms, the kitchen, the schoolroom, the shops, etc. It was a beautiful exhibition and we will definitely go back again.

Walk down memory lane... - We've been with our teenage granddaughter. Was for us there nice, very recognizable. My granddaughter was amazed by the things we didn’t have before 😏, which she thinks is completely normal. Lego was also very popular. Very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed ourselves for about 2.5 hours. Museum annual card well spent again.

Nice recognizable museum - Nice museum to walk around. Recognizable. When we were there it was way too busy. They would have to work with reservations and time blocks, but sometimes it was impossible to get through. Shame. Catering and prices are good. Nice trip to combine with a visit to Hoorn.
