Not a tour worth hopping on…hop off and stay off! - We were under the impression this hop on hop off tour was on a single double decker bus…it was not. We had to take multiple buses, and to get to the outskirts of the tour, we took these dinky little shuttle buses. The guide is merely a recording about the city. Not worth the money. Rent a bike and see the city that way. Plus, it takes forever to get on your shuttle bus!! Don’t bother hopping on! Save your $$$$

Total FAIL! Don’t waste your money. - We never found, or even saw, a bus, despite having a map of stops. We bought the tickets that included Cambridge, for 2 days. The tickets were close to $100. We ended up having to take taxis. Total loss.

One terrible trip! - I was very displeased with the first part of the tour. The tour guide named the places that we were going by, but didn’t really give information on them. I wanted to make sure that we were went to one spot that was on the list, but the bus driver missed it and so I had to have him pull over and walk one and a half miles back to get there. At one point, the guide was telling us to get off the bus. There were still more stops to do, and I didn’t understand. When I got off the bus, there were three people telling myself and others to stay there and wait for the shuttle. I didn’t quite understand that. The other people that got off the bus were confused, too! I knew it wasn’t just me. When I had to go back to the north end, where Paul Revere‘s house was, I was so tired, had a headache, that I just took Uber home. I was not happy at all.

Terrible experience - Nothing but problems with this tour. Paid for a two day tickets for three people. Tour advertised 24 stops. We waited at stop 11 for 45 minutes. No bus in sight. Called company and learned they were only doing 8 stops. No #11. Had no idea where the 8 stops were. No help provided by the company. False advertising by offering 24 stops when only providing 8. Will be pursuing a full refund and feel Viator should vet the companies advertised on their site. Another trolley company took care of us promptly. Do not recommend this company.
