Cost effective fun way to see and learn about Paris. - Great ride, bad traffic. Boat ride was magic. Never did the self guided walking tour. Bus was fine. Hop on hop off is easy.

Wonderful tour! - We only had one full day in Paris so this was perfect! We had visited Paris before but our friends had not so this really gave them a great overview of this beautiful city!

Great way to see Paris - The hop on hop off bus is very easy to use. It goes in a loop and you can get on/off at any stop or stay on for the entire loop. It has audio that provides history of what you are seeing. It takes you to the areas with the top attractions. We used it to hop off to shop, but had we not been on a tour where we saw much of the city we would have hopped on/hopped off to visit attractions. This is a great way to see the city. I would also recommend the night tour where everyone sits on the top and the bus does not stop. It goes the regular route, but adds a few stops including the Eiffel tower where you can take pics of the tower lit up.

Good for tourists to see a lot in a few hours - We had an ejoyable day on the Big Bus Paris Hop-on-Hop-Off Bus tour. The buses were clean. The stops schedule was prompt and on time. The musci in the audio portion of the tour was annoying so I didn't listen. At some stops, it was difficult to locate the pick-up spot/sign.

Very cool experience - Seeing the famous sites in Paris and getting historical information about each. There was one bus that didn’t provide the audio, which made it difficult to follow the sites that were seen.

Attractions were not always close to stops - Some of the attractions off the stops were not very close so to walk and tiur and get back to stop took up large chunks of time. The River Cruise was amazing and would definitely recommend. The bus tours some of the city but there are only like 10 stops.

Couldn’t find our reservation - The tour operator couldn’t find our reservation so we couldn’t do the tour. Viator, however, did a great job refunding our money.

Not worth it for the price. - For someone who is visiting Paris, it was difficult to find the bus stops. They are not clearly marked and this caused us to lose time. Once on the bus, the audio tour was too simple and short. I listened more to music than information about the place. The audio only said “the next stop is such and such” but I didn't know if the bus stopped because the traffic light was on red or because that was the stop to hop off. The driver should announce every stop numbered in the map and give some time to the people that is in the upper deck to walk safely on the bus. A few times we tried to hop off but, the bus started moving. This also caused a loss of time. The route does not reach the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, which is very disappointing. Overall I will not take this tour again.

Terrible - Not sure where to complain but we could not use our paid tickets with Big Bus as instructed. We went to the Big Bus office and they said that our tickets were redeemed even though we had not used them. The agent Viator used was Rewind. I would look into this if I was Viator as we have been ripped off. The Big Bus agent let us do the bus tour for free but we had to pay again for the Seine River cruise. We would like a refund. France was not a good experience for us. We had no problems with our previous Viator bookings but we have had 2 bad experiences in France - Bookings for Versaille and Monet Gardens and then the Hop on Hop off bus and river cruise.
