Enlightening - I enjoyed myself immensely. I love to start my vacations off in a new city on Hop on Hop Off busses; they give me an idea where everything I want to see is in relation to other places as well as giving me a little history about the town.

Hop-On bus in Bergen - Not impressed. Hop-On in Bergen was short and expensive. There was nothing special to see while the city has a lot to offer

No direction or support given once the trip has been paid for. - The ticket we were sold was not the “official tour” as shown in the picture and we were asked to leave the bus and wait for another company. Hop on hop off run by AS not the usual company. So we waited for an hour while the bus came from a different city and started work

Rip off - Don't do it. Commentary doesn't link with locations Absolute rip off. You can walk around the main attractions rather than taking this bus.

Overpriced and unreliable. - Terribly overpriced and complete lack of return buses meant we walked back to the port. Bergen is not that big - even with a small child, I would advise walking rather than paying for this rip off.

Overall poor service - Purchased tickets from seller at port in Bergen. Map and audio provided. Audio didn’t match up properly to bus vicinity. Wanted to get off at Fort, but audio didn’t address Fort and bus didn’t stop so missed it. Had to get off and walk back. Tried to speak to bus driver, but only spoke Norwegian. Went to get bus to finish tour and go back to port. Bus didn’t arrive. Constantly misled by employees as to when would arrive and eventually admitted been cancelled altogether. Told 10 mins walk to port, but 25 mins at a brisk walk. Nearly missed cruise ship and we were suffering from health issues which were exasperated by this walk and stress. Manager in Bergen provided contact details for complaint, which we made, but haven’t received a reply.
