Nov 2024 , short days - We bought the tickets that were valid for three different routes. Even though in November, the length of day that they operate is less, we were able to do two of the routes and could’ve done the Olympic one if it weren’t for us getting cold.

We'll worth the cost. Great way to see most of Munich and pick highlitghts. - The busses were prompt and clean. Easily found and the stops were well marked. The 3 lines enabled us to cover most of the city of Munich. The only negative was that the volume of the audio track was sometimes too low.

Nice overview of the city - The city tour hop on hop off is always a win for a quick overview of a city, and the tour in Munich did not fail. While it could have provided more information, the info it provided was sufficient enough to give a good overview. It was an overcast, cool day when we rode so it was nice to ride.

Good - Great way to get an overview of the city and see a lot of sights. Seemed a bit chaotic at the main bus stop with too many people and staff all jostling round confusing people. Did purple and red line.

New sight on Munich - We did all three Munich-Tours. Each was a fine experience. Hopping off is the idea you should try. Prefer the Two-Days-Version!

Ok, not great - We took the tour in late October 2024. We had never done a hop-on-hop-off tour before and were somewhat unfamiliar with the concept. When we got on the bus, there was no information provided as to how the tour worked. As a result, we missed the first opportunity to get off the bus in an area of old town Munich that seemed very interesting. We did get off the bus at the next stop and explored the area, which was great. We were wrong to assume the next bus would pick us up after 30 minutes…it was there after 20 minutes, and we missed it. We then waited for about 40 minutes for the next bus. So, the schedule of every 30 minutes for a bus is rather lax. Be prepared to wait around quite a while for a bus pick- up. If you just want to sit on the bus for an hour and see the city, then this tour is for you. If you want to use the hop-off-hop-on process, not so much. We do not recommend this tour.

Disappointing - While the city tour itself was decent, we would have liked more information/history about the different sites in Munich. Instead of playing music in between sites, the tour would have been much better with information given about Munich and the buildings/sites we passed on the tour. Also, we stopped by the welcome center to get information about going to the Olympic Park. Unfortunately, they failed to tell us the last bus runs at 4:30, so we did not get to make our stop at the Park. Overall, we were disappointed with our bus tour.
