Fabulous Tour of Cork - Loved this Hop on Hop off in Cork! We saw so much and got great photos and information from the driver / guide. Great overview of the city when you’re not in town for long. Highly recommend this!

Cork via hop on hop off - Beautiful route and great driver. We asked for recommendations for a fun pub and she sent us to perfect pub with local patrons who were quite friendly.

Not impressed - Not that impressed with this hop on, hope off experience. All the buses seemed to run at different times to the timetables. They don't actually go to all the stops so there is a lot of walking involved anyway. In retrospective we wouldn't have booked it.

UGH to Cork City....not a scenic environment, so the bus tour is simply not warranted! : ( - Alas...while I'm a HUGE fan of these hop-on/hop-off bus tours (incl. ones I've recently taken in London, Bath, Oxford, and also Seville, Spain), Cork City itself simply doesn't warrant one -- it is a decidedly UNscenic place, with only a limited number of stops. I brought my camera as always as it has a high-speed feature that has captured gorgeous pics from the bus windows on those earlier tours -- but there was Nothing I wanted to photograph in Cork City...Nothing! It's not the bus company's fault. Just was Hugely disappointed and consider this recent birthday outing to have been disappointing plus a total waste of time/money. I mistakenly assumed Cork City would have charm similar to Dublin....boy, was I way Wrong!! : (

Bus timing intervals much too long - Found that the times were too long between pickups (45 minutes). If you happened to be just over 45 minutes at a certain sight, you had a long wait for the next bus.

Hop on, 'P' off tour, Cork - Date and time: 12.30 tour, Sunday 5th, We arrived 10 minutes in advance to try for the Cork City Tour, unfortunately the bus was full and that's ok, we were ready to wait for the 2pm bus. However when closing the doors the driver made a snarky comment about how we 'should have arrived earlier in the morning' after we accepted that the bus was full. Her rude comment and tone put us off of attending the 2.pm which is a shame because we really enjoy tours like this.

Overcrowded ignored dissatisfied - We arrived by train to Cork station. There is a stop outside the train station. We waited past the scheduled 10:25 arrival time only to have the first bus drive right past us. There were seats available on the bus. We took a taxi to the first stop. There was a line. We barely made it onto this bus with standing room only. This driver stopped at the train station stop. We hopped off after four stops and walked to our other activity. We passed by the first stop during our walking tour. There was an entire bus full of people waiting to board and already full bus. There were not enough buses running to accommodate the demand. We will not be taking the hop on hop buses in future.
