Trip highlight - We went twice, once at high tide to kayak and once at low tide to walk around. Both experiences were fantastic. You can walk or take a $2 tram (buy token from a machine). There's a restaurant, gift shop, and informative exhibit in the visitor center. Check the website to see when you can walk out from the beach and when it's closed.

It is very muddy and a long staircase both up and down but a great place to hang out and enjoy the scenic rock formations for sure. there is a cart that will take you otherwise its a bit of hike we paid extra for the cart ride and a lovely gift store, information place and restaurant. Good bathrooms all around this was a stop i would reccommend

Well Worth the Stop - The tide was at low tide so we were able to walk among the rocks. They were magnificent. We were amazed at the rock formations and the mud that the tide left behind. It was well worth taking the time to visit this natural wonder.

Impressive formations and a good walk. - We enjoyed the stop here, the interpretive center has a lot of information we didn't stop to absorb. We walked to a couple of lookout points before we found the path to the beach access. If you prefer to get a shuttle to the beach access you can pay for that extra. There are stairs and the beach is rocky and muddy so wear good shoes. The rock formations are really impressive. We took a lot of photos. The sand is red/brown, the water was murky red and the day was cloudy and breezy, so not too hot. There are refreshment booths and a cafeteria and gift shop. The walkway to the entrance is under construction- pavers. It will be really nice when done. The pass seemed expensive, but the attendant reminded me it was good for two days. I suppose if you are camping nearby or something, or the tide is wrong when you go and you can come back when tide is out, that would be helpful, but it didn't apply to us, passing through for the day. We were there a little after low tide, which worked out well.

This was nice to walk around at low tide - We arrived about an hour after opening when it was at low tide. It was a short pleasant walk from the visitor center to the beach, and we did not regret not buying the tram pass. It was cool looking and interesting to explore. It was muddy in some places, so I wouldn’t wear good shoes. The visitors center and gift shop were also interesting to look at. We were not staying close by, so we were unable to come back at high tide.

Natural beauty transformed into an industrial tourist trap. - The site in are natural state must be beautiful. There are facilities now that definitely facilitate the visit, but with a thousand people down on the beach, buses load and unload people non-stop, dozens of campers/trailers and hundreds of cars driving up the site, it is very unpleasant, a real zoo. The price is too expensive, the restaurant and snacks sell at exorbitant prices. A real tourist trap. We're never coming back here. Go to Fundy National Park instead...
