Amazing first time snorkeling experience!! - I did a full day snorkeling tour of the Hopkins barrier reef with Matt and Jeffrey. They were so welcoming and very knowledgeable of the marine life. They allowed me to join a group of 5 as a single snorkeler when I called to book a week in advance. It was my first time snorkeling in the ocean and they made me feel safe and comfortable. They provided time for practice in shallow water prior to snorkeling in the reef areas. They made sure everyone's gear fit well and had an anti fog solution for our goggles. We spent about 30 minutes in 3 different snorkeling spots. Our captain, Matt, had such lively energy playing music in the boat and it was easy to see his passion for his job and the ocean. We visited Bread and Butter Caye for a delicious lunch with various appetizers including fresh fruit, banana bread, chips and salsa before the main course! There were many options but my favorite was the fish that Matt caught spear fishing. 5/5 stars they helped me have the best first experience snorkeling and I would definitely go back!

Medz and Jeff will elevate your snorkel excursion beyond any expectation! - Our full day snorkeling trip with Medz and Jeff was incredible! We couldn’t have been happier. From the moment we got on the boat they were friendly and excited to have us on board. They made an effort to get to know us - share their lives with us as well! Both were so knowledgeable, showing a true passion for their job, their village, and the ocean gift they were sharing. Our lunch on Bread and Butter was SO GOOD - and again Medz and Jeff sat with us, we all shared stories, and truly felt like we had been friends for years! THEY made our trip! We encountered (safely) sharks, sting rays, beautiful fish, and reefs full of beauty! We left knowing so much more about the reefs, and the ongoing efforts to keep them beautiful! If you take this excursion - request these two - you won’t be sorry!

Great snorkeling with Theodore - Our family, grandad, daughter, granddaughter and friend did the half-day snorkeling tour. I've done snokeling in St.Thomas and the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Get to know Belize was the best! Despite choppy waters, the crew was very helpful to make sure it went well. They had us try out snorkeling first near shore and then took us out to two locations in the barrier reef. Staff carefully helped ensure the equipment fitted well. Theodore got in the water with us and guided us to the best spots and pointed out many interesting marine creatures. He was careful, accommodating, knowledgeable with a good sense of humor. Our whole family was very pleased!

My sister and I did this... - My sister and I did this tour and loved it! We were the only ones to book it on the day we went out, so we basically got a private tour. Our guides were two brothers, and they were so kind and seemed to really care about safety. We saw tons of fish (of course), coral, stingrays, and even a turtle!

Wonderful snorkeling trip for families - My 10 year old daughter and I did the full day snorkeling tour. We were picked up about 15 minutes late from the dock of our resort and went out with 6 other people. The ride out to the Cayes and Barrier Reef was bumpy and took about 45 minutes. The snorkeling itself was wonderful. I really appreciated how they started in shallow water to make sure everyone were comfortable with the snorkeling equipment before going out to three different sites in the Barrier Reef. The snorkeling was great. We saw wonderful corals, sting rays, a nurse shark, 3 types of angel fish and many other types of marine life. Our guide had a pointer that he used to point out the marine life. He would then come up and say what it was. He kept his eyes on the group to make sure everyone stayed together and seemed comfortable. The captain kept the boat close so people could go back on early if they got tired. After snorkeling we went for lunch at Bread and Butter Caye. So beautiful and relaxing! The guide had picked up a conch while we were snorkeling and so we had conch ceviche along with chips and salsa, fresh pineapple, salad, chicken and rice. Everything tasted amazing. Definitely a great family tour!

Snorkeling and a trip to Bread and Butter Caye - We had an amazing day on the water! Our trip got upgraded to the full day snorkel. The van picked us up from our cabana and we headed to the marina, Jaymar and Jeff were our guides, both great people! They took us to 3 reef spots and Jaymar was very informative and pointed out a lot of marine life to us! We then went to Bread and Butter Caye and they made us an amazing lunch while we relaxed on the hammocks! Would recommend, bring sunscreen and a long sleeve to cover up from the sun!!

Snorkeling tour out of Hopkins! - Amazing full day snorkel 8-3. We had 4 adults and 4 kids aged 7,6,6,5. Two of the kids didn’t snorkel much but still had a blast. We went to three spots to snorkel and the fish and coral were incredible at each spot. Had lunch on bread and butter caye. Kids loved it, water trampoline and water pads to run around on. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Fresh snapper, conch and lobster all caught that morning on our snorkel trip! Capt meds, Jamar and Jeff were all incredible and capt meds whipped up an awesome curry fish for lunch. As with most belizians we have met all seemed like genuinely great guys. Highly recommend and great for families! Some of the kids loved snorkeling and some loved the lunch spot and trampoline but all had a blast!!
