Beautiful horse and carriage experience - Abdulla, our guide and driver was so lovely and attentive. We felt that we saw many areas of Marrakesh that we wouldn't have seen on foot or taxi. We were very happy with our Excursion!

Lovely carridge ride through the city of Marrakech! - I would give this carriage ride a full 5 stars, however, the one thing that had let this experience down was the fact that my family and I were taken to a tannery and encouraged to go inside. The smell upon arrival was absolutely overwhelming. My wife, daughter and indeed myself felt nauseous and because of this, people may wish to avoid this part of the tour. After this, we were taken to the nearby store where all the real leather items were being sold. There was a large variety of leather goods such as jackets, bags, dresses, skirts and other interesting items. Haggle with the owners! Before we arrived to the tannery, we were taken to the old city of Marrakech and were told about important areas within the city by the coachman. After leaving the tannery, we continued our tour around Marrakech, out of the old city into the new city. We saw the Koutoubia Mosque and rode through Bahia Palace (the King's Palace). Beware when travelling through the palace as pictures/videos are not allowed to be taken when travelling through a certain area.

don’t ride - cruelty towards the horses, i have not been on one after seeing how disgusting they are being treated. the whip marks, falling over eachother legs, in the boiling sun all day and even at night they never stop working, never being fed or drinking water. it is appalling how many people get on these and pay for these rides when they can see how the horses look with their ribs and bones showing it’s disgusting.

Shameful! Maltreatment - Shameful! Horses are abused, skin on bones. I have seen horses collapsing, thirsty, whipped their skins are filled with scars, they are not considered as living beings but rather as devices without awareness of pain. How can we still accept this in 2024, how can it go unnoticed by everyone? Shame on these traders and tourists!!!!

Shameful, distressing, distressing - It was out of the question for us to use this “means of transport” because it is a shame and how can we condone this “activity”. The horses are waiting in an Indian line for their turn. Some are hampered on all 4 legs by ropes, others carry a muzzle. In the queue a horse collapsed but no time to recover, he had to get back to work. When they trot around the city, caught in the middle of dense, stressful, noisy traffic, we see them skating because obviously the tar is not at all suitable for them. How is it possible that in 2024 there will be no boycott or association speaking out against this practice. And not to mention the abuse of monkeys and snakes in the square. I hope that one day all this will no longer exist. And in charge of major travel agencies, please stop praising this activity in your programs, you participate in the continuity of these horrible shows

Animal abuse - Pure animal abuse. Horses are skin and bone covered in whip scars, stood in intense heat all day long with no shade, water or food and all the horses are laame and have uncomfortably long hooves. I witnesses a horse pulling a carrage collapse because of exhaustion and the guide pushed and tugged at the horse until it stood up although almost being on a death bed and whipped it until it continued the tour. Ridiculous. Please dont support this!
