- XM3J+W9 Las Vegas - It will be a typical gaucho day from the beginning to the end. Don Daniel’s is a true mountain hut, which allows each visitor to share its family tradition. You will enjoy the calm and the immensity of the Andes on horseback, and our host will guide you through unique trails, only known to those who inhabit this area. You will have a unique experience off the beaten track.
To start, some delicious mates with tortas fritas: you will be welcomed at the ranch with delicious homemade fried pastries.
And then let’s get ready to ride. We will meet the horse and the muleteer, and we will visit places that will surprise us with their natural beauty. A tip: Take a camera! What we will see is just unbelievable.
After 3 hours of riding, we know you’ll be hungry. We will prepare a great asado -with a vegetarian option for those who prefer so-, accompanied by quality wine from Mendoza. We will conclude the day with the dessert.

Amazing and authentic experience - Amazing experience and definitely one of the best activities of our trip! The experience is very authentic and you also get a good chance to appreciate the beautiful landscape of the Andes mountains. The horses were calm and easy to ride even for someone with no experience. Our guide Pablo was extremely helpful as was our host Daniel. I would definetely it!

Rustic and pleasant Gaucho experience - The authenticity of the experience, from driving through the mountains, arriving at the ranch, interacting with the gauchos and animals, was out of this world. The horses were well-trained, and our tour guide, Tim, was knowledgeable and always prioritized our safety. TheAsado was phenomenal. Ascending into the mountains was a heavenly feeling.

Just excellent and a real adventure! - Really great service with pick up and return from our hotel. This is a family owned small real working ranch. The owner and his family care for and saddle every horse in preparation for the ride. The horses are well mannered and will follow the guide without problems. Don’t mistake this as a boring trail ride. We are experienced riders and the terrain would be extremely difficult even for experienced riders without well trained horses. The views are absolutely incredible and cannot be accurately captured in photos. This is a real adventure! The BBQ was the best meat we had during our 2 week trip to Argentina and it was cooked on the ground next to an open fire. Don’t be put off by the long drive of 1.5 hours outside the city. It is well worth the drive and very scenic along the way.

A must do in Mendoza! - An amazing experience. The views were stunning and the food was incredible. Our guide was so friendly and informative and Daniel was so kind. It was one of the highlights of our time in Argentina!

Amazing Horseback Tour and Food - Incredible service and experience! They pick you up from hotel, drive you all the way to base of Andes, and give you breakfast, a horseback tour with incredible views, the best bbq cooked over fire in the mountains and then drive you all the way back to hotel.
They are all super nice and went out of there way to accolade us. My wife is gluten free and we stopped at a grocery store to make sure we picked up necessary food.
100% would recommend!

A must in Mendoza - The sunset horseback ride with Destino Montana was incredible. It was easy to coordinate, the staff were all friendly and Joaquin shared a lot of knowledge and laughs. I’ve only rode a horse once before and they made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend getting the bbq as well. It was simple ingredients of high quality so tasted amazing. The views were stunning, like nothing I’ve seen and very impressive since we started higher up in the Andes front range. Having a real gaucho on the ride made it extra special. Top travel experience!!!

Great hiking experience - We did the hike and BBQ lunch and had a wonderful time! Pablo was a great guide - could not have asked for anyone better. Pablo accommodated everyone’s needs and went out of his way to help my 72 year old mother.
Would highly recommend.

Wonderful experience - Under clear skies, we enjoyed the best tour of our three-week Argentina trip. Even as a first-time horseback rider, I had no issues; the horses were well-trained. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, speaking fluent English. Daniel, living the genuine gaucho life, led us into the Andes and prepared an excellent lunch for us. Overall, it was an incredible and memorable day, highly recommend!

Amazing experience with wonderful people - Highlight of our trip! The scenery, the horses, and the team are all wonderful: from confirming the arrangements via WhatsApp to dropping us off back at our accommodations, our guides were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
After arriving at the ranch, meeting the gaucho and animals, and a refresher on horseback riding (no experience needed), hours of incredible vistas in the mountains and an outdoor meal of probably the best bbq I have ever had. They even accommodated dietary restrictions. A perfect day and unique experience, recommended to anyone visiting the area. Thank you so much!
