Thanks, "Bob", for a fun, educational, and gorgeous fall tour of Copper Country! - Before our tour, we were trying to imagine why a 52 mile drive would take 5-6 hours, but afterward, we realized it could have taken even more than that, so much to see and learn about! We started at 9am on a beautiful sunny fall day, and finished at 5pm, and we didn't do every stop. We took to calling our narrator "Bob", he was so fun to listen to, and very accurate with directions. We spent the most time at Quincy Mine, Eagle River Falls, JamPot, Eagle Harbor, and had lunch and viewed an amazing church on the Lake Linden detour - but by far the most impressive detour was Brockway Mountain, wow! We were too "toured out" to stop at the Life Saving Museum or Fort Wilkins, hopefully another time. We learned about pasties, and afterward we had some fantastic ones - first at Syl's Cafe in Ontonagon MI, and then at Copper Pasty just over the Wisconsin border in Ashland - we are fans!! Yes, "Bob", you inspired us to be part of the "adventurous bunch", thank you! Will definitely consider another audio driving tour.
