25 feet below ground - What a very cool historical and architectural tour of the underground Houston tunnel system. Our tour guide, Diana was friendly, energetic and knowledgeable. In the midst of local Houstonians bustling about their busy day, we had a relaxed and entertaining morning. The history that is all around us that we may miss or take for granted is amazing . . . and it was obviously very important to Diana that it be cherished and shared. A nice bonus was some photo opportunities both inside and outside!! This is 1 of my favorite tours I have done in Texas and among the most informative tours I've ever done

This is more than just a tour of tunnels! - Beneath what appears to be a deserted downtown area is a community of workers employed in the city using a network of tunnels to access city buildings (avoiding the summer heat & humidity) and eat at a plethora of restaurants plus other retailers. You will learn why the tunnels came about, and along the way find out about the history of some of the iconic buildings that are above them and the personalities that have made the modern Houston we know today. Thanks to Diana for an enjoyable tour.

Who knew…tunnels in Houston - Tour with Diana was amazing. Learned lots about history, architecture and food. Lunch at Finn Hall (The Smoke) was delish. Went back the next day and tried a kaloche which was a tasty breakfast option 🙂

A whole different world under there - Love the tour and our awesome guide Vanessa. It’s a whole other world you don’t know exists from up top. Beautiful buildings and lobbies and of course tunnel system. I highly suggest just a small water/bathroom break at some point. Other than that a great and recommended tour in Houston.

Bizarre. - This is a bizarre experience - like one big airport terminal. There are miles of tunnels under the city of Houston filled with shops and food courts. We saw a number of historical buildings and modern architecture - a lot of emphasis put on the damage to buildings due to weather. Our guide Vanessa was very informative and at the end of the tour gave us a list of recommendations of places to visit/restaurants and bars.
