All around amazing experience - We just finished the Food Tour of Downtown Houston with Tunnel Access… and WOW. Our tour guide, Vanessa, was so knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. She took the time to not only show us the restaurants, but to show us interesting spots, murals, and historic locations between the restaurants. She provided an experience that only a true Houstonian could. 10/10 tour guide!! The restaurants - also a complete 10/10. It’s hard to pick a favorite. Each restaurant absolutely shined in their individual cuisines (and I say that as a very well traveled “foodie.”) We will surely be revisiting these restaurants to try their other dishes. And don’t get me started on the amount of food that we got. This is NOT a “small bite” tour. This is a “I am going to need a box to take the rest of this food home” tour. Overall, it was an amazing experience. I would recommend this tour to both locals and tourists. You won’t find a better tour in Houston for this price. Just book it!

Food tour night - We recently did this food tour, and it was a delightful evening of plentiful food, interesting information and fantastic company. We hit up 3 cool spots, each serving up a lot of food, unique tastes, and a different feel. Vanessa, our tour guide was a treasure chest of information about Houston and its culture. She was very welcoming, helpful and enthusiastic which made the whole experience even better than expected. If you’re looking to explore downtown Houston in a fun and delicious way, you can't go wrong with this food tour and any other tour that Vanessa is leading

Food tour in downtown Houston - We had an outstanding time. I thought the food was just the right amount and more than we expected compared to other tours. Im happy we did this food tour with Guide Vanessa, she puts a lot of energy and effort into making sure you understand the food options and each restaurant stop. Each stop was unique and different that the last, we ended up taking the strawberry cheesecake and pasta back to the airBNB with us. Would do this tour again with family members and friends

Great way to spend time with the family. - I am a native Houston who grew up going downtown for everything before the suburbs blew up and I still leaned a ton on this tour. Our tour guide Vanessa was a wealth of knowledge and shared that knowledge so enthusiastically. I left with a reviewed since of pride in my hometown and some great places to eat when in the city. Our last stop had an entrance to the underground tunnel system with a flood door. Interesting and a little eerie. Did you know Houston has the largest underground tunnel system in the US? My boys did not, so we'll be booking the underground tunnel system tour Astroville offers next. Whether you're new to H-town, or an original native like me, book this tour. My family loved it. Great way to spend quality time together.

Memorable food tour - Delicious Food. I've done similar tours in Dallas, Nashville Denver etc. This one was among my favorite and had the best guide and had the largest "Texas-sized" portions. Our guide Julie made an enjoyable experience a memorable one. Thank you Julie!

Delightful evening out - This was a fun tour that lets you try some good plates while still learning a bunch about Houston. The tour stays in a small section of downtown Houston with nice diverse restaurants and bars. The Mexican and Asian choices were our favorites although the ambiance of the Italian restaurant was different and kind of felt like an old favorite Chicago restaurant of ours Carmines. Our guide Julie was superb and had some interesting info for each location and stories behind some of the plates we tried. In all, it was about 10 different foods and we ended up taking a good portion of pizza and dessert home.. . My group also enjoyed the extras like the pictures in front of Chase, highest elevated pool in Texas, and seeing the "Houston is Inspired" mural

Houston food tour fun - My family really enjoyed this food tour experience. Learned a lot about the city, tons of different food, and good time with others visiting Houston. Our guide Vanessa was a delight, very resourceful with her recommendations and local insider knowledge. She was also helpful at each restaurant too and gave us information so that we could return to the tunnels on our own during the week

Night out in Houston - Enjoyed this evening very much, Vanessa is among the best guides I have found. Her stories, knowledge and food choices are a delight. We ate a lot, took some fun photos, and made some new friends even! Probably my favorite tour I've done in Houston although the tunnel tour is a close runner-up!!
