A Whole Lot of Museum! - We were in Houston for space camp at Space Center Houston, but hurricane Beryl interrupted the first two days of the week. On Tuesday, with camp still cancelled, we discovered that the Museum of Natural Science had power and was open! Not really knowing what to expect, I packed a bag for the day and loaded the boys! The funny thing is that upon arrival, we discovered it was cheaper for us to join - so now we are members - ha! The museum is HUGE and has a lot to offer - way more than I anticipated. From dinosaur bones, to a vast gem display, to science, nature and everything in between, there is literally something for everyone! If back in Houston we will definitely return at some point!

Exciting - It is quite knowledgeable and exciting…They have an amazing collection of art ,History and Civilisations …The Dinosaur exhibit and the gem collection is a must watch …Three hours are not enough so plan a full day visit otherwise you wouldn’t have time to explore all the amazing collection they have ….

You feel like a night at the museum - It is one of Top-rated plans I have had the opportunity to make, the museum has everything you need to sit in every grade of the school, remember and live everything learned in a unique way, it is located in the center of the city, on Thursdays it has free admission for foreigners and residents.

Go for the Dinos, stay for the rest! - On our Houston trip, this was where we spent our morning! It is a wonderful museum. The dinosaur area is, hands down, one of the best that we have seen! We have a Dino loving kiddo, so we've seen quite a few dinosaur exhibits! The museum is fairly well laid out, but we did get turned around once or twice. You could easily spend the whole day here and there is enough diversity in the exhibits that there should be something for everyone to enjoy! We'll definitely come again if we are in the Houston area!

Had a great time at this... - Had a great time at this museum with my mom. There is so much to see even with the general tickets. I recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and taking time to really enjoy each floor.

Pricey - The exhibits are informative and educational, and the museum entrance fee is reasonable except for any of the extra exhibits, like King Tut, the planetarium and others, which were VERY overpriced for a family of four. Also, the parking garage charges $30 per car, unless you are a museum “member.” Be ready to spend quite a bit of money if you take a family.
