Natural Science - The museum was great, better than I thought. Glad I went. Enjoyed especially the Egyptian exposition and King Tut.

Informative and interesting museum - Loved this museum - great displays - large and interesting - good interactive technology section and loved the dinosaur section and the native American sections. They have free wheelchairs you can borrow which was helpful and good accessibility - although many of the information panels and some of the displays were too high for someone in a wheelchair to read/interact with. We stopped for lunch during the visit and got food from the rather basic shop/cafe - wanted to sit outside in the garden but it was not wheelchair accessible - around 5 - 10 steps - which is a shame as it was a lovely wee garden. Cafe was basic - not sure if there is another better cafe in the building. However exhibits were great and we spent at least 3 hours looking around and probably only did half of the museum. Would happily come back.

Good day visit - A lot to see here. Four floors with several rooms on each floor. Only complaint is need to have tickets to include everything instead of special displays having additional charges. Also $30 parking is excessive.

A Whole Lot of Museum! - We were in Houston for space camp at Space Center Houston, but hurricane Beryl interrupted the first two days of the week. On Tuesday, with camp still cancelled, we discovered that the Museum of Natural Science had power and was open! Not really knowing what to expect, I packed a bag for the day and loaded the boys! The funny thing is that upon arrival, we discovered it was cheaper for us to join - so now we are members - ha! The museum is HUGE and has a lot to offer - way more than I anticipated. From dinosaur bones, to a vast gem display, to science, nature and everything in between, there is literally something for everyone! If back in Houston we will definitely return at some point!

Exciting - It is quite knowledgeable and exciting…They have an amazing collection of art ,History and Civilisations …The Dinosaur exhibit and the gem collection is a must watch …Three hours are not enough so plan a full day visit otherwise you wouldn’t have time to explore all the amazing collection they have ….

You feel like a night at the museum - It is one of Top-rated plans I have had the opportunity to make, the museum has everything you need to sit in every grade of the school, remember and live everything learned in a unique way, it is located in the center of the city, on Thursdays it has free admission for foreigners and residents.

Recommended - If you like dinosaurs this is a must see. They have a great collection. I was visiting the King Tuts exhibition so had free admission to the natural history section. Cannot recommend enough. King Tuts was very good as well and they have their own Egyptian collection as well!

Scouting Merit Badge Program - disappointing - no accountability - The HMNS is a great institution and I have no complaints with general admission and tours/exhibits. Those are amazing and especially entertaining for kiddos 5-11 or so. My complaint is with the Scout Merit Badge programs and lack of follow up/sign off after the class day is over. I have paid and my kid has now attended the Family Life Merit Badge twice. There is zero response and assistance with MB sign offs following the class. My son has both emailed and called and left vmail and instructed to obtain sign offs. It is highly disappointing and annoying to a parent who is trying to help the Scout just get it done. I will only recommend to others if their Scout can be prepared enough to get all signed off during the class. Slackers beware!
