Highly recommend - The walking tour was really good, Dealan knew so much history of the area, and kept it very interesting. Would throughly recommend the trip, even if you're on a short visit. As he's local his knowledge is fantastic.

Perfect tour, fabulous guide. - First class tour guide. Dalen has a great relaxed style, informative and engaging with a great sense of humour. He is passionate about his city and it's history. I enjoyed learning about the history and some mythology. Enough time given to see each monument, understand the information and take photographs. Dalen was happy to answer all questions. The walking route itself was mostly flat, some steps but nothing too much. Sone great recommendations for other places to visit, also places to eat and drink. I would highly recommend this tour. Thanks so much for an easy pleasant interesting morning

Can’t be excellent local knowledge - This tour was provided by a local who is also a history teacher, and you could tell. His knowledge of the history of Pula and Croatia was second to none. We’ve done walking tours in most Croatian cities now, and he was a cut above the rest. You could tell that he was excited and passionate about the local history, so much so that sometimes he just needs to slow down. Great facts mixed with novel stories. Excellent.

Recommended! - Dalen is an inspired Guide with a passion for his city and country. As a history teacher he knows how to tell many interesting stories, but also has fun anecdotes and jokes in store. In addition to historical knowledge about the city, Dalen also knows where to eat or have a drink. We enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it!

Beautiful walk through parkland and old city centre - The guide, Dalan, speaks excellent English and his profession as a history teacher lends great depth and interest to his stories about the city. We walked to several landmarks, starting with the arena, and had a fulsome explanation of each and the historical context. The 2000 yeat history of Istria is covered on this walk but in an engaging and friendly fashion. It is so much more fulfilling to have this compared to just wandering and gazing. To cap it all Dalan was helpful in recommending dishes and restaurants in the city for us tourists. An excellent couple of hours.

Pula with a local - Delan was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. There wasn't a lot of walking in between each landmark which was good as you didn't lose interest. Would highly recommend if in Pula.

Awesome Pula tour (must do!) - Dalen is fantastic! He is funny and very knowledgeable. I wish I would have had him as my history teacher. He really loves being a tour guide and it shows. We learned, we laughed, and we had a fabulous time during this tour. If you come to Pula, which I recommend you do, you MUST take this tour. I can’t stress enough how fun and interesting this tour is.

Great tour with Mega sympathetic local guide - Dalen is great! Great guided tour with great information from a local who takes us both to historical places and places of his childhood and always has a great anecdote ready. Very friendly and sympathetic. He knows about the materia as he was born here as well as working as a history teacher here in Pula. The Führer is in his early thirties and burning for this city. Tips and hints for great dining experiences included. Top and only recommended. Offers his Help center well beyond the tour. English perfect. Some other languages also partly but he promises to learn high and sacred 😊
