Highlights
- Húsafell Activity Center - We drive from Húsafell onto Langjökull (‘’Long Glacier’’), the second largest glacier in Iceland, where our adventure begins at Klaki base camp. A thrilling snowmobile ride takes us over the immense expanse of ice & snow to the ice tunnel entrance, nestled high atop Langjökull. We spend 1 hour inside the tunnel before reboarding our snowmobiles for the return ride.
A valid driver’s license is required to operate a snowmobile. Children and guests without a license can ride a double snowmobile with a licensed guest. The minimum age for joining this tour as a passenger is 8 years.

Spectacular views and educational tour - Nina was the best!! Amazing tour. So educational and the views from the top of the glacier were spectacular. Loved the Icelandic stories she shared with us on the way back down and all of the fascinating facts about glaciers learned along the way. 10/10 would absolutely recommend this one-of-a-kind unique experience. Nina deserves a raise!

JUST DO IT! - First time snowmobiling and it was such an amazing experience! Yngvi was such a fantastic guide and he made the experience so worth it! The Langjökull tunnel was unreal, just don’t slip haha. They even give you boot chains to help with that! We almost didn’t book because of the price but you will not be disappointed! So glad we decided to come, and a HUGE thank you to Yngvi!

Great tour - We had an amazing tour today! We went into the glacier with our tour guide Nugget. She had so many great stories and facts to tell. So glad we did this! We would highly recommend taking this tour as well. Perhaps Nugget will guide you as well!

An unforgettable experience ! - If I'm being honest, the experience of the glacier cave is truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. My family and I had a wonderful time.
As well, the team in charge of our tour did an amazing job. Óli and Ómar were very entertaining and provided an excellent explanation of the cave's background. I highly recommend experiencing it at least once.

Iced down. - Pretty cool experience. Going down in that big tube was rather unexpected. I wasn’t entirely comfortable going inside a glacier which is constantly moving. Walking wasn’t very difficult since the gave each explorer a pair of crampons to wear. The day previous to our visit it had really rained and it was raining pretty heavily inside. The truck ride up onto the ice was also interesting.
