Meeting point is at North Sailing ticket office in Husavik at least 30 minutes before departure. Just look for a brown glass building with whale drawings and green letters on top saying Whale Watching Centre. Across the street from the Husavik Church.

Fanatstisk upplevelese med proffsig crew och vacker träbåt! - Vilken fantastisk upplevelse! Vi hade turen att se både knölvalar, Minke Whale och delfiner på extremt nära håll. Helt magsikt! Kaptenen och all övrig personal var så ödmjuka över de fina individerna vi fick se. Skeppet Gandar var tyst och snabbgående och förde oss säkert ut i viken och tillbaka. Guiden gav oss bra fakta om de olika arterna som vi stötte på. Varm overall gick att låna men mössa var ett måste även i juni. Ingen brådska utan allt skedde efter hur valarna rörde sig i viken. På väg tillbaka till hamnen tog Kaptenen sig tid att köra nära ytterligare en val längre bort i viken för att vi skulle få se så mycket som möjligt. Chokladen och bullen värmde gott på väg tillbaka.

Loved it - We saw several whales and the scenery was spectacular. The overalls kept us warm and we loved the hot chocolate and rolls

Stunning - We were lucky to have perfect weather and a stunning experience of a pod of white beaked dolphins swimming and jumping alongside us for quite some time. We also saw a separate pod of the same species leaping out of the water and also blowing water. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Whale watching - Booked a whale watching excursion from Husavik. A suit is provided to protect you from the wind and cold while you go out into the ocean, in search of whales and other cetaceans. At the end of the tour you are offered a cinnamon roll and hot chocolate.

Excellent outing - Really good experience. The crew and guides were excellent, the warm suits that were provided did indeed keep us warm (need to take own warm hats/gloves/scarves) Trip was well organised and we did see whales!

Cool boat and staff - We went in April and unfortunately we didn't see any whales. But the team was very friendly, they had informed before the tour that the previous shift hadn't seen it either, to align expectations. Who knows, maybe we can do it another time. The hot chocolate and cinnamon roll were great treats :)

The best whale watching experience - This is one of the highlights of our Iceland trip and it never disappoint. The Nirth saioing team rocks especially their marine biologiats who provided us some insights. One the the best sights to sip hot choco and eat cinnamon bread is whale watching. My friends and I love it so much! Definitely one of the books! #corememory
