Family fun - Great to get away from crowds of Thailand. Slow pace. Nice trip through local village life to get there. Safe, fun rides suitable for tweens in particular. Not exactly a ‘Thai’ experience. But a needed reprieve from business of town. Waterpark driver will take you back to Hua Jun city for 300 bht.

Uncrowded Water Park in Beautiful Countryside - The park is located in the countryside about 10km from Hua Hin. It is relatively good value and has slides, swimming, lazy river, wave pool etc. It is relatively uncrowded - we never had to wait our turn for anything. Nice views of hills and mountains from the park. You are not allowed to take food in and there is a restaurant with moderately priced food of OK quality. Despite what some reviews say the place is very well maintained and quite well organized. The only downside is that we took Grab to get to the park but couldn't find a ride to get back to Hua Hin. But park staff were very helpful in organizing a local to take us back to Hua Hin for Baht 400, which is similar to the Grab Plus Fee if Grab had been available.

This was worth a big thumbs up from me. - Just been to the water park at Black Mountain and had a great time. It ticked all the boxes for us as a family. My children are 6 & 10, there were a variety of water slides for age and swimming experience. Other areas for smaller ones and a wave area. There is a wake boarding area that I will try next time and a dry play area for little ones. Very cheap 1500 thb for 4 of us, my youngest went in for free as she is under 110 cm tall, but she could use most things there. The staff were great, safety staff were very professional, advising when they needed too and watching cautiously from afar. This was worth a big thumbs up from me.

Off season visit - Our family with kids ages 7 to 14 enjoyed a day at this waterpark. Purchasing tickets at gate was easy. We were there in off season there were few other guests, no lines. Some of the tallest slides and the lazy river were closed when we visited (we were given a discount because of this.) Not sure if that is typical during low season? Even with those activities closed, we enjoyed 4 hours at the park. Grounds and equipment are well maintained, a super relaxing way to spend the afternoon.

Fun day with family - Black Moutain is a large water park off Hua Hin. It is quite expensive to go in there for a family but the area is large and well organized and basically never any queues. For the 6-year-old, the waver was the highlight of the water park and she ran there as soon as she heard the bell ring when it was about to start. The 11-year-old rode all the water slides and if you want to say something negative is that they could be a little more advanced but it was fun to ride them. They also have high security and you have to wear helmets on some canyons.

Nice Waterpark in Hua Hin - Nice waterpark, a bit overpriced and middle of nowhere, but we had fun day there. Quite few visitors, so no queues to anywhere. It was diffucult to get taxi (Grab) to pick us up, but it worked when we paid a little extra (of course). Would recommend to visit!

Rude counter girl - Bad experience very bad counter girl went with family and requested my 83 yr old dad to sit on chairs in the park but the counter girl was asking 500bht just to enter and sit on those empty chairs.

Tourist Trap - A few slides, two children's pools... It's not worth the asking price, there are few people and it's far from everything Furthermore, my 9 year old daughter had to pay the adult rate because she is 1m40 tall... To be strongly avoided. It's a tourist trap.
