We take you off the beaten track where you’ll try some amazing Thai food in humble surrounds.
You’ll eat with locals, because as the age old adage goes,
“locals always know where to find the best food in town.”
For this tour, we searched for venues that had a high standard of food hygiene, were family-run, used their family recipes and that offered truly 5 star flavours, without a 5 star appearance.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
- This tour is not suitable for vegetarians, vegans or have a gluten intolerance or is allergic to nuts
- Please advise any specific dietary requirements upon booking. Some diet restrictions may require some dishes to be missed.
- No walking is involved as we utilise local transport, Songtheaws.
- Minimum tour numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation, even after confirmation, if there are not enough passengers to meet minimum requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative, or full refund.
- Feast Thailand carries compulsory Vehicle Accident Insurance. This policy is underwritten by Tokio Marine Safety Insurance (Thailand) PCL. All guests on a booking must advise their name and passport number in order to be insured, as required by Thai law. This information is confidential and will not be used in any other way.

Best tour! :] - My father, my girlfriend and me went on a tour with the guide Belle. And what a wonderfull tour. We were told to only eat a light breakfest, but honestly we should not have eaten at all, there was so much and so wonderfull food on this tour.
We were "lucky" to get on this tour just the 3 of us, so it kinda felt like a private tour :] We went 5 diffrent places and tasted alot of diffrent food, all was really nice and we really enjoyed the tour. We will hopefull return to Thailand next year and will for sure book another tour!

Truly eat like a Thai local - What a fantastic food tour. We made four stops on this tour lasting approximately three hours from meeting our guide, Cream, at our hotel. We were introduced to dishes from the different regions of Thailand, a real eye opener to the different variety of food the country has to offer. Cream was incredibly knowledgeable and great fun to be with. It certainly felt we were eating like locals as there wasn’t another “Farang” is sight!! It’s amazing to see the quality of food some of these small kitchens produce. Great experience to get off the well beaten tourist track and see real local life. Many thanks to Cream for sending us the details of the dishes we experienced. Go hungry and don’t expect to finish the dishes, you can’t!!! This is about experiencing all the different cuisines and flavours.

Great local dining! - Bell was a great guide and made the tour fun. She was knowledgeable about the restaurants, food and local area. Was lovely to go to some local spots we wouldn't have known about as tourists. Food was very good.

Very enjoyable half day tour. - Most enjoyable tour with five stops where we were served generous helpings of delicious food. We were taken to a street food stall, a noodle maker, a lovely garden restaurant, and two other eateries.
Belle was a delightful, informative guide and very helpful. We enjoyed all the food and learnt about the cuisines from the different regions of Thailand. And as well some Thai words. TIP: have only a very small breakfast before you go!!

Put This At The Top of Your To Do List - My husband and I booked a private tour and it was well worth it! Our guide was Belle and she did an excellent job of educating us on not only the food we requested (not so spicy) and where and how to order it, but Thai culture and phrases too. We had a fantastic time with her and we never felt rushed. We had plenty of time to absorb what we were learning. She met us at our hotel along with Leigh, which was a special surprise we were not expecting! We’re now trying to decide what our next Feast Thailand tour will be.

Amazing insight of local kitchen - Starting out with fishnoodles. A place that served this for 50 years. What a treat to start with. The next surprise was with the streetvendors. Small bites off delicious food. The garden restaurant was simply amazing. Our Guido pikkedonker a few fish dishes and a mushroom soup. Every bite is to die for.
Ending with a restaurant where we had two different curries from the north and the south. Sweet and spicey. If we had tot discribe the whole tour in a single word it will be WOW! This tour and guide will bring you the true experience of thai food! Both thumbs up for us! Thank you, Leigh and Belle for making this happen.
