Awesome sunset food tour Hua Hin - We had a fabulous sunset food tour with the effervescent Cream despite the downpours. Our favourite venue was the Dinosaur night market with it's sheer variety of cooked food, veggies, fish and meat and good local vibe. Cream was great at explaining the intricacies of all the Thai food we had and all done with a good dollop of humour. As relative Thai food novices this was great because we would have overlooked many of the ingredients/accompaniments with each food. This was especially so when we had the pork knuckle at the second venue which took the dish to a whole different level. The traditional Hua Hin sun dried seafood snacks were intriguing.
The Isen food stop was delicious as well. Again Cream took time to explain and guide us through the complexities of eating this regional food. The duck larb and lotus flower stem spicy salad were delish.
The dessert stop was novel with all the different additions you could make to your dessert.
All in all this was a fantastic food tour and Cream was a wonderful guide. Would totally recommend Feast Thailand.

Best local food tour - Cream was an amazing guide!! If you want an evening tour do this - but don't eat before! - We loved our tour tonight with Cream. Met Leigh at the first pickup of our other tour journey friend - was sensational to meet the legend who put this all together and to have a few laughs and get a few local tips. We got on our way and to the Tuesday night market (only Tuesday night, so it was kind of special to happen upon it - we didn't know when we booked it) standouts include Chiang Mai sausage (I could have eaten the whole lot!) the steamed dumpling (two styles, one with rice paper the other with tapioca) and the different ways to eat it. I preferred the rice paper one for its texture, but both were really tasty. That sauce...OMG!! The green fried vegetable cake - oh my hat, dipped in the same sauce - different dimension but whole other level of good!
The sweet floss dessert with the super-duper thin pandan pancakes (almost like peking duck pancakes but with pandan - and lighter) was a great palate cleanser between the savoury and spicy (I admit - I eat A LOT of chilli - hence my t-shirt which warns so haha)
Next stop stewed pork knuckle - oh man... this place is next level good - but Cream knew how to start with the appetisers of fish crackers accompanied by this most amazing salty/hot/sour with a fishy edge - and other bits and pieces like dry grilled flattened squid (my favourite bar snack) and charcoal grilled sea snail pieces on little skewers (delicious), grilled (I think it was dried?) chewy sea bass in a delicious sweet marinade.
The pork knuckle gets its own paragraph - I can see how this place has lasted decades... Just wow. The combination of eating the rice cooked in the pork stock, with some strips of pork with whole cloves of garlic (skin and all) and some birds eye chillies - just wow. Cannot speak highly enough of it... Just do it. Then after the tour go back and get it again... we most certainly will (pull up your favourite map app on your phone and pin drop it - so you can tell your grab driver where to take you!)
Next stop - Issan restaurant... You may have noticed I'm a spicy food fan - this place did not disappoint with the chillies that I could add ;-) The air dried beef with the crisp fried kaffir lime leaves, crunchy and so, so tasty, go so well together. I could have eaten the whole plate except I needed to keep room for that whole fish when I saw it. The chicken wings were super simple and tasty - again - something you kinda don't wanna stop eating but when you see the setup that comes with the fish - you will.
Cream guided us through the Issan style of building the betel leaf, the herbs, the noodle, the two types of sauce (including spicy for me) the fish on top and making a little parcel.... again Oh. My. Hat! Just insanely good...
Last stop, which we forgot about because we were talking so much, Cream feels like a family member - chatting and talking about our families and where we come from and what we do in life... Such a great way to do a tour. Leigh - you have a legendary guide here - 100%. The ice dessert - so very refreshing after all the different things we had tried. We have this at home in Australia - but the local daily fresh coconut milk smacks the tinned stuff they use at home out of the park, it's not even the same dessert in our part of the world. Here it is so light and fresh and you want to keep eating.
Do book a tour with these guys - we absolutely loved it - shame we don't have more time to do more!! Will DEFINITELY be back next time we are in Hua Hin. THANK YOU!

Fun evening - First, communication with Leigh was great. Fun experience going to local market and two restaurants with final stop at roadside “desert shop”. Cream was our guide and was patient, answered all our questions and was an excellent guide. A fun, informative and delicious way to spend an evening in Hua Hin. Come hungry for sure

Delicious and Fun Adventure - An incredible experience of the local food culture. Our guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. She took us on a journey from afternoon market, to backstreet popular restaurants, all the way into bustling night street food market, we discovered Thai cuisine like nothing we had known before, and learned how locals eat their food. Highly recommend!

If a food tour in Hua Hin is desired, I can really recommend it - Highly recommended as:
- Communication professionally, quickly and easily
- the tour started on time with a more experienced friendly Mrs. Cream
- extremely many visual and culinary impressions and taste experiences from the kitchens of all Thailand
- nothing "prolonged ", even the routes from restaurant to restaurant or food market were carried out with a car available at any time
It couldn't be more effective and therefore thank you for the very good organization..
