Perfect way to explore Shanghai - Fantastic tour - great way to see lots of the city, quickly and very informative too. Allen was great and explained a lot about the history and culture, as well as stopping off at some great spots for snacks. A good mix of cycling and stopping, and cycling is very easy in the city.

Couldn't ask for anything more - A really lovely experience from beginning to end. We got the perfect mix of old Shanghai and new Shanghai with some snack breaks a local food spots at just the right times along the way. Our guide was wonderful. The bikes were new and worked perfectly. The tour went a great pace. Couldn't ask for anything more. Highly recommend.

Excellent tour, very professional guide. - Did the tour with Ellen. Shanghai is maybe not a city that immediately comes to mind for a bike ride but it was as enjoyable as a tour I did in cycle friendly Copenhagen. Ellen is an excellent guide, she quietly explained the details before we left and her hand signaling made the ride seamless. She is extremely knowledgeable about Shanghai and we went through many areas that I would not have thought of visiting. The bonus was the food. A good variety that was very tasty. A highly recommended tour.

Excellent bike tour - I went on this bike tour my first day in Shanghai to help me get oriented with the city. The tour guide, Ellen, was very informative and friendly. The bike I used was easy to ride, the stops on the tour were well curated and enjoyable, and I felt like I learned a lot while having fun. I highly recommend this tour.

I was charmed - I spent a very enjoyable morning in the company of Ellen, who guided me around the streets of the French Concession and old Shanghai town.  I got lost and was late for our rendezvous at the hotel, but luckily Ellen had persevered and was still waiting for me. Ellen is a mine of information on the history of the area, and at each stop we made, she would recite interesting historical facts. We made numerous stops along the way, including Fuxing Park, where there is a French and a Chinese garden. Ellen explained how the Chinese garden's design was culturally influenced.  We watched groups of retired Chinese who used the park for social activities, including singing and Tai Chi. We also made stops at restaurants to savour local food. My favourite being the pork dumplings. The bike ride lasted about 4 hours, covering quite a few miles and many interesting sites. Afterwards, I was fitter and richer in the knowledge of this wonderful area of Shanghai. I would highly recommend this bike tour, and if you are lucky, you might get Ellen as your guide.       

Shanghai French Concession area biking - Ellen was amazing, curating the ride with attention to safety, notwithstanding the light rain. Started out with a traditional breakfast snack, and the sights and duration were just right. I ended up going back to one of the sights few days later on my own.

Life enriching experience! - It was a life-enriching experience. Easy, enjoyable bike ride. Ellen is a great guide, very friendly and knowledgeable.

Incredible and Meaningful Tour - This was an incredible tour with Lee, Jordan, and Christina. We got to see the intimate areas of the French Concession, Fuxing Park, and so much more. We learned so much about Shanghai and really really got a feel for the city. Highly recommend this on your first or second day in Shanghai!!

Fantastic and fun tour! - Fantastic tour and super friendly and fun guides. This is a great way to see the city and experience it a fun way.

Awful weather, failure to refund or credit - Torrential rain and storms day of tour, including lightning. Would have been unsafe and incredibly unpleasant to participate. Opted to cancel and requested credit or refund, but was declined. Disappointing.
