Wonderfully guided experience even on a damp day! - Charlie was a great guide who brought Shanghai to life with historical facts and pictures. Her descriptions were detailed and knowledgeable and she was helpful beyond just the tour in assisting me to get the rental bikes to work! The snack stop was delicious and quite traditional Shanghaise fare.

Shanghai seen from a different angle - Absolutely worth it and well cared for. Our guide Q had plenty to tell us and we were lucky that we also had nice weather on Sunday morning. In total it is about 10km of cycling at a very relaxed pace with plenty of breaks. Definitely recommended.

Memorable Shanghai cycling experience - A truly authentic Shanghai experience, enhanced by an enthusiastic knowledgeable guide, who is a life-time resident. Cycling through the streets, sampling local food outlet fare, stopping at interesting historic spots was a really fun educational experience. I would do it again!

Amazing local food experience - We had an amazing fun tour. We tried many local foods and could experience real Chinese food. The tour guides were very experienced and gave a lot of information about the areas we went and the food we tasted. Going by bike was perfect and we always felt safe with our guides.

Fantastic experience!! - We had a wonderful experience with Charlie yesterday! While in town on business we wanted to see some of Shanghai and I'm so glad we found Culture Shock Tours. We covered alot of ground and Charlies was a pleasure to spend the morning with, sharing lots of history of Shanghai. Shanghai is a very bike friendly city and we felt completely safe biking on the city roads. The food stop towards the end of our tour was delicious! For those interested we biked approx 12km over 4-5 hours with many stops. Mostly flat riding so easy to do, even if you are not used to riding a bike often. The bikes themselves were very comfortable. I will be recommending to all my friends who visit in Shanghai - an excellent morning! Hope to return and do the bike and brunch tour next time. Thank you so much!
