  • Yuyuan Old Street - Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel at 09:00 a.m.. Then, we will transfer to Shanghai Old City and start the highlight tour.
    Shanghai Old Street, historically called Miaoqian Dajie, is an old business street that has a combination of tourist attractions, shops, entertainment and cultural exhibits. It owes its special social attractions and rich commercial background to the fact that the earliest bank, gold shop, jeweler’s store, wine shop and tea house of the city were all to be found here. Visiting the old alleys of Shanghai is a great way to discover the traditional culture of this city and experience the real life of the Shanghainese.
    Then, we will visit Chenghuang Miao.

  • Shanghai Temple Of the Town God (Chenghung Miao) - The Old Town God Temple of Shanghai, with far-reaching history, attracts a lot of tourists from all over the world to visit. As well as praying, visitors to the Old City God Temple can watch some folk performances, can take part in cockfighting, special calligraphy and some other acrobatic performances. The Old City God Temple is most famous for its local snacks, and as such is a real kingdom of delicious food with many different kinds of restaurants spread along the streets.

Then, we will visit a famous art galleries - M50 Creative Park.

  • M50 Creative Park - In the characteristic industrial buildings of a former textile mill you will find a significant group of contemporary art galleries, cafes and craft shops.
    The roster of galleries comes and goes. Some are tucked away upstairs in the buildings alongside other creative businesses so it is a good place to explore. From a quality point of view look out for ShangART who have two venues here, Chronos Art Centre, who specilise in new media; A+ and Antenna Space have also created large and good looking exhibition environments, preserving the character of the buildings.

Then, we will transfer to Jade Buddha Temple and appreciate a 1.9-meter-high white jade Buddha.

  • Jade Buddha Temple - The Jade Buddha Temple is an active monastery and one of the most popular temples in Shanghai. Visit to see the site’s two beautiful jade Buddhas as well as the vast collection of statues, relics, and art.
    Although the history of the Jade Buddha Temple is not very long, the old-time and classical architectural style makes it unique and inimitable in this modern city. The Jade Buddha Temple is a good place to go whether you are a Buddhist or not, the peaceful and transcendent atmosphere adds a kind of richness to our busy modern society.
    We will copy the Buddhist Scriptures with a writing brush and enjoy vegetarian noodles at Jade Buddha Temple.

Then, we will transfer to Pudong New Area, walk along Lujiazui Ring Bridge and enjoy panoramic views of Shanghai from Shanghai Tower.

  • Pudong New Area - As a new and bustling district, Pudong offers visitors some of the most modern attractions, businesses, skyscrapers and shopping malls, all featuring the latest in entertainment, technology and fashion.
    We will walk along Lujiazui Ring Bridge which is good place to photograph skyscrapers.

  • Shanghai Tower - The new landmark of Shanghai, the tallest building in Shanghai with a total height of 632 meters. The 118th floor of the tower has a indoor observation deck which is the world’s highest indoor observation deck and called the ‘Top of Shanghai Observatory’. Tourists are recommended to visit the exhibition hall on floor B1 first, and then take the express elevator to the 118th floor directly within only 55 seconds, its speed can reach 18 meters per second. Here, you have a bird’s-eye view of Shanghai. You will have time to stop and admire the scenery on both sides of the Huangpu River on the 119th floor.

Then, we will transfer to the Bund and see the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles.

  • The Bund - The Bund is a famous waterfront on the west bank of Huangpu River and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai. Here, the charm of Shanghai as a bustling metropolis combining the century-old history and flourishing future is fully presented, making the Bund Shanghai a must-see attraction. We will see the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles at the Bund. Such as Peace Hotel(Heping Fandian), Shanghai Customs House and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank. We will appreciate skyscrapers across the Huangpu River.
  • The Bund City Sculptures - We will see the Bund City Sculptures, Monument to the People’s Heroes, Huangpu Park and Waibaidu Bridge.
  • Nanjing Lu (Nanjing Road) - Nanjing Road is considered to be the ‘No. 1 commercial street in China’, which has been a landmark for this city for a long time. Along its 5.5 kilometers, you will find over 600 shops that on average are visited by some 1.7 million people each day. Here, you can purchase everything wanted, spanning from special and cheap souvenirs to the luxurious world famous brands. You can also visit the surrounding neighborhoods and the thinnest building.
    The thinnest in Ningbo Road is known as Paper Building(纸片楼).
    The building was once reported by British Daily Mail, stated as perhaps the world’s flattest and thinnest building. Standing diagonally in the front of the the building, it just looks like a piece of paper. The old house had four floors, not all that thin; it takes the shape of triangular polygon. This novel and strange building still has a large number of residents.
