Definitely recommend it - This was one of the most delicious, filling and interesting food tours I’ve ever taken (and I’ve taken them in 20+ cities). Jim was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable not only about all the food we tasted but also about Shanghai’s history as well. I definitely recommend this tour!

Walk and food with a friend! Perfect! Highly recommend! - Jim was an amazing guide, perfect balance of history, present cultural information and fun information about the food and area. It was like taking a walk with a friend who knew a lot about where we walked.

Great Food, Great Guide! - The tour is a great way to see a more local side of Shanghai. The places chosen are family owned or local. The food is delicious, I especially enjoyed the tea tasting. The guide is very friendly with great English and very happy to answer questions.

Recommended 🔥🔥 - It was a very good tour. If a friend wants to go to Shanghai, I would recommend it. If you ask questions in English, you can understand and tell me well 👍
1. Food is delicious.
- Spice is not very good and fits the Korean taste.
- Local cuisine (local or not)
- Good to eat a lot of different things.
- An entirely many.
2. Jade guide is great.
- Totally kind.
- I was worried about Chinese accent in English pronunciation, but nothing.
- Explain Shanghai and Chinese history.
- I asked you to take a picture, but you did too well. Gold crazy. Girlfriend Satisfaction
- Learn how to order Louisiana coffee, chassis, and rent a shared bike.
- I asked you a lot of questions, but you know everything.

Wonderful food tour in Shanghai - I booked the Shanghai Breakfast Walking Tour of the Former French Concession, and it was a wonderful experience! My tour guide, Jim, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. He took the time to show me around the city and share fascinating insights about Shanghai’s history and culture.
One of the highlights of the tour was trying all the delicious traditional Chinese food. Jim introduced me to so many amazing dishes that I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. We also visited a local fruit market, enjoyed the Chinese tea session, and got a glimpse into daily life in China.
I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this trip and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting China. The Shanghai food tour is a must-try experience—you won’t want to miss the mouthwatering food and the chance to explore this vibrant city!

Best. Food tour. In China. - We did four food tours while we were in China and this was by far the best. Jim was an amazing guide and we went to the best restaurants and had plenty of food. If you have any doubts, just book yourself for this tour. You’ll see Shanghai from a great perspective and Jim will make your day wonderful.

Don’t hesitate. Book now! - We were a family of 4 including 2 boys (teenager and a tween). The breakfast tour with Jim was informative, educational, enlightening and DELICIOUS! He was extremely patient, food was divine, coffee was excellent and the experience was like walking through Shanghai with an old friend. One downside was that it was raining hence we were unable to walk off the awesome food we had. Was sad that the tour ended - we would have gladly had a full day eating tour if we could!

Delicious and authentic! - We had such a wonderful morning exploring wonderful Shanghai with Jing. Highly recommend! Each food experience was absolutely delicious and i loved the additional experiences that Jing blended into the tour, like the wander through Funxing Park and a brief visit to one of the city's famous museums. I felt that the experience was incredibly authentic and I would definitely recommend. Thanks Jing!
