Great experience! - Like in every big city that I visit for a few days, I also took the Free Walking Tour in Shanghai on my first day (also did the French Concession tour on the 2nd day). As always this is a fantastic way to get to know the basics of the city in a relaxed and friendly way. Our tour guide Viola was fantastic and shared 100s of important or just funny things about China in general and Shanghai in particular. These are great folks, offering a warm welcome to the city. I would definitely recommend everyone to take this tour in your first few days in Shanghai.

Amazing experience! A must do in Shanghai - Me and my boyfriend had a great time with Yuhui and other guests. Yuhui is very kind and patient, told us a lot of interesting stories about buildings&history of Shanghai. It’s an unique experience to get to know Shanghai through a local people. Highly recommend it to other travelers

Superb! - Yuhui's tour is, to my experience, the best among many I've joined around the world. She speaks Queen's English and has a real sense of humour which resonates with international audience. I was drawn to her speech 100% even on a wet and windy day!

Great tour, one of the best walking tour in my experience - Couldn't say good enough of this tour and of our guide, Yuhui: one of the best free walking tours I had (and I had many from Europe to United States passing through Asia). First of all, her humour was not excessive (it happens so often that the lack of knowledge is covered by an excess of humour) and always used in the right moment to make explanations less boring; second, she had a real knowledge of the matter and she had the special gift to make her knowledge easy to get for us (she had the brilliant idea to show us picture of the different locations as they used to be and how as they are now); third, she suggested the best places where to buy food or souvenirs showing no personal interest in it (and it is quite a rarity). Last, but not least, her English was more than fluent, so that we did not lose time asking repetitions or trying to understand her. Thank you again, Yuhui!

An AMAZING tour with Viola! - The walking tour is a fantastic way to see some of the highlights of Shanghai, especially for travelers with just a short layover in Shanghai. The tour starts at the People's Square train station and winds you past Shanghai landmarks, the Bund and local neighborhoods, Along the way had food stops and sampled some amazing local treats. Our tour guide Viola was AMAZING! She is so animated, informative and a pleasure to be with. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it to everyone! This was a great way to spend a few hours on my short layover in Shanghai.

Best starting point to explore a city (best with Viola) - I joined French Concession tour and also Shanghai City Tour both guided by Viola. Joining a free walking tour is always a best starting point to explore a city you don't know. More interesting for me was Shanghai City Tour. Thanks to Viola and her perfect knowledge of the city. She did more then was expected (incuded info about transport and she also guided us to perfect local restaurant). Thank you.

Best tour I have ever been on with great guide in a beautiful city. - I looked up the free walking tour in Shanghai and could not have been more pleased with the outcome. You get to walk roughly 4.5 hours through the city seeing the architecture, learning history and eating delicious food. It is well worth the time to attend this FREE walking tour. HOWEVER, the absolute most amazing and best part about this tour is the tour guide, the dutch-chinese soccer (football) playing SIHAO. Very few times are you able to see pure passion and enthusiasm when some one is doing their job and very clearly is loving it. Sihao made this tour riveting from the beginning with his immense knowledge, great food recommendations and visible love for the city. I am serious when I say that this was by far the absolute best tour I have been on - do not miss out.
