Day 1: Arrival in Huangshan

Upon arrival at either the Huangshan North railway station or the Huangshan airport in Huangshan City, you will be warmly welcomed. Begin your journey with a visit to Tunxi Old Street, a charming area filled with traditional Huizhou-style shops and residences. Following this, you will check into your hotel in Huangshan City, where you can spend the remainder of the day relaxing or exploring at your leisure.

Day 2: Hongcun Village and Mount Huangshan (B, L, D)

Travel to Hongcun Village, a picturesque traditional Huizhou village, renowned as the filming location for the Oscar-winning movie “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.” After enjoying lunch, proceed to the Yungu Cable Car station at the base of Mount Huangshan. From here, embark on an unforgettable journey to the summit of this majestic mountain. Explore attractions such as the Beginning to Believe Peak, Black Tiger Pine, Lion Peak, Stone Monkey Gazing at the Sea of Clouds, Cooling Terrace, and more. Conclude the day by watching the sunset at Purple Cloud Peak.

Day 3: Huangshan (B, L, D)

Meet your guide early in the morning to witness a stunning sunrise over Huangshan. After breakfast, visit the West Sea Grand Canyon via the new Xihai Cable Car. Enjoy a Chinese lunch while admiring the mountain views. Continue to explore another of Huangshan’s spectacular viewpoints. Descend the mountain using the Yungu Cable Car and return to Huangshan City to check into your hotel.

Day 4: Tangyue & Inkstick Factory (B, L)

After breakfast, travel to Shexian County to explore the Tangyue Memorial Stone Archways, which include seven arches, three from the Ming Dynasty and four from the Qing Dynasty, each with its own fascinating story. Visit the Bao Garden, once the private garden of Bao Qiyun, a renowned Hui merchant, now home to China’s largest private bonsai garden and exhibition. After lunch, return to Huangshan City to visit the Hu Kaiwen Chinese Ink Stick Factory, where you will learn about the production of Anhui’s famous calligraphy and painting ink sticks. Your guide will then accompany you to the Huangshan airport or Huangshan North railway station for your departure.
