I booked the 5 day Huayhuash Trek. I was sad not to be able to do the 8 day trek; it was so fantastic. Angel and his team make a very pleasant trek possible, despite the physical effort. The vegetarian food is very varied (tofu, soy protein, lots of vegetables), very delicious and abundant :) I hope to book another tour with this agency soon!

6 days Huayhuash - I just did the 6-day trek to Huayhuash with this Angel agency and was absolutely satisfied. Although I booked at very short notice (1 day), everything went very smoothly and quickly. Our Mayquel Guide was an enrichment for the whole group. He very lovingly attended to all the people who were a little sick while the trek. He was very careful and cooked a variety of rich dishes. Amazing tour! - We were looking for a tour to do the Huayhuash and ended up with Angel and Waroma Tours. Angel clearly explained in advance what the intention was and what we could expect. From pick-up at night to return to Lima, the entire tour was arranged down to the last detail. Angel's brother and sister were our tour guides and chefs, and made sure we didn't lack anything. Michael, Angel's brother, was familiar with the trek and knew a lot about the nature. He had a great sense of humor, which meant that we looked forward to his 'briefing' every evening before we went out. He always knew how to tell this so nicely and we also had a lot of laughs with and about him in other conversations. Sister Marie-Louise was also fantastic. Together with Michael and the donkey driver, she ensured that there was no shortage of food. Every morning she provided us with a delicious breakfast (which was not the same any of the 4 times) and gave us a 'snack bag' with fruit and cookies. We had lunch while walking and both Michael and MarieLou chose the most beautiful spots. Huayhuash itself is fantastic, but the care of waroma eco tours made the experience unforgettable and magical. It is a family business and you can see and feel that. I would definitely recommend booking this tour and hope you have a great time.

Huayhuash - 8 day trek of a lifetime! - In November 2018, we spent 8 days trekking through the mountain passes of Huayhuash. Although we utilized a different tour agency for our trip, Angèl was our guide. As a fully supported tour, he guided us through the most beautiful mountain passes in the world, keeping us safe, informing us about what to expect, motivating us to keep hiking, and creating an experience of a lifetime. We feel that Angèl has become part of our family and we are very happy that Angèl has started his own agency. We would highly recommend utilizing his agency for any tours you decide to book in the Huaraz region. See you again!

The logistics are all well organized, the guide Maicol is very professional and fun, making each day very special and the cook Gabriel's meals were very delicious and nutritious. The rónal muleteer also worried that everything would be fine. I am really very happy to have done this expedition with this agency. Amazing experience with the best tour guides you can wish for! - Highly recommending this tour operator! We had our best time when we went on an 8 days trek through the Cordillera Huayhuash. Our tour guide Mayquel, our chef Gabriel and our donkey driver Leo were a young and dynamic team with a lot of passion for the mountains and for what they do. They were very responsible, had so much positive energy and every day was so much fun ! The service was excellent, all of them were extremely attentive and taking so good care of us, they really wanted us to have the best time and to feel comfortable in every single second. The food was very delicious, there was a great variance and the portions were huge! We were sometimes eating better food than we had outside of this trek ;) You get hot water bowls twice a day to refresh or wash yourself, which was quite nice. We got a lot of explanations and interesting insights about the mountains and environment of the national parc. Every evening we got a very detailed briefing of options for the next day, since there sometimes were longer/more difficult or shorter/easier routes or extra routes for more viewpoints, which we could decide on. All the gear and equipment was in very good condition, the sleeping bags very warm, etc. I also want to mention Angel, the manager of this company. He was spending a lot of time with us in advance of this great adventure to explain us every single detail about this trek, which options we have, what’s recommended, how to prepare ourselves, .. and answered every question.
