Enjoy a leisurely 30-minute walk covering approximately a mile within the park, accessible between 5 AM and 8 PM. Listen to tales about a variety of outlandish animals that resided here, including Tony the Gorilla, Betsy the Elephant, lions, tigers, monkeys, bears, etc. The park drew crowds with daily circus performances and amusement rides for 60 years, but now hosts the stunning local wildlife of New Hampshire. Don’t forget to visit the Benson Park Store for a refreshing ice cream, cold beverage, snack or keepsake, open from Friday to Sunday, 12-4 PM. Amenities include public restrooms, and the park welcomes dogs on a leash.
