Great trip! - We were picked up promptly at our hotel in Hoi An and that's about all we needed to do...As we made the 2 hr drive to Hua via the Hai Van Pass, Mr Hung prepared us with some historical facts about the Pass and also introduced us to Hua and it's place in Vietnam's history with literature he had personally prepared. He was very good at his history....We stopped for lunch and I immediately sensed this would be THE lunch...it was that good. The lunch was worth the tour. By the time we were dropped off at our hotel, we were done with a beautiful day by Andy.

Memorable trip - Danang Taxi was the company which took care of our group of 10 for this fascinating trip. The imperial palace was amazing. The 12th emperor’s tomb was simply out of this world. We were accompanied by Mr. Cong who was very knowledgeable, educated and caring tour guide.

A UNESCO gem that needs to be seen during your visit to Vietnam! - Our tour of the UNESCO sites in Hue, Vietnam, was an unforgettable experience. Our tour included visits to several of Hue's most important cultural and historical landmarks. Our tour guide, Mr. Le, was knowledgeable and passionate about the sites we visited, and we felt that we gained a deeper appreciation for the country, its rich history, and its people. He has every imaginable date you could ask for regarding the sites. He skillfully avoided the large tour groups so we had a more peaceful experience. Also, Mr. Le took countless photos of us at different sites using our cameras, which was a welcomed service. He coordinated seamlessly with the driver so that we were picked up swiftly at the end of touring each site, and helped us with any special requests we had. After a breathtaking and twisting ride through Hai Van Pass, we had a rest stop at a local oyster farm and learned about the local harvesting techniques using old tires. We were then off to visit the Imperial City, a complex of buildings and palaces that served as the seat of the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945. The architecture of the Imperial City is breathtaking, and it was fascinating to learn about the history and culture of the Nguyen Dynasty. We took a boat ride on the Perfume River to arrive at Thien Mu Pagoda, an ancient temple that dates back to the 17th century. The pagoda is perched on a hill overlooking the River and countryside. The pagoda's seven-story tower is also an iconic symbol of Hue. Another must-see site on the tour was the Tomb of Tu Duc, the final resting place of one of Vietnam's most famous emperors. The ornate architecture and intricate carvings are truly impressive. The tour included a delicious lunch at Y Tao Garden that highlighted the culinary delights of Hue. This option is known as the "tourist restaurant" and it was the perfect choice for us. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hue or Vietnam in general.

It’s a big day but interesting - Mr Nghia, our tour guide, was fantastic. His knowledge of the history of the dynasties & the imperial city was incredible. The scenic drive on the Hai Van Pass was great to see. Thanks to our amazing driver, Bsi, who navigated those hair pin bends. This tour is away from the cities & it’s good to see the countryside of Vietnam. The Imperial City was ok but a lot of the buildings being restored. The boat trip along the river in an old wooden boat is novel. The city of Hue is nothing to talk about. Our lunch was average. If you do this tour, you want a guide that can make it interesting otherwise I would say this is an ok tour. We were lucky to have Mr Nghia. It’s a big day. 10 hours.

Great day trip to Hue - This was a good private trip to Hue with guide Phuong. He was very articulate in English and was amenable and friendly throughout. Sometimes I did notice that what the guide told us differed from what the information panels in various places we visited told or what other guides were telling their groups, but I guess that's okay. It was overall a great experience.
