Hue tomb tour - Great to have a driver as the sites are quite a distance from one another. Hoa was a great guide, super friendly, very informative about the sites and history & helped us with some other things. Highly recommend Hoa as your guide.

The only way to Hue - One of the best things we did in Vietnam. Our guide Hien was very kind, attentive, and informative. He seamlessly drove us to explore the tombs at our own pace and ever pointed out an excellent restaurant for lunch. We loved the pace and flexibility of the day, especially since we just had one day in Hue. Could not recommend this tour, and Hien, more! Thank you for an unforgettable day, Hien!

Historic sites in hue - This was a wonderful day trip in which we saw 5 different historic sites in Hue. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful and very fluent in English. Overall this was one of the best days of our trip

Highly recommended tour of Hue - Highly recommend booking this tour when in Hue, as there are many things that are some distance from the centre of the city, so having a driver to get you to/from everywhere made it all easy. We unfortunately had an extremely rainy day which put a bit of a dampner on the day, but we still had a very enjoyable time and saw some amazing things. There is some fascinating history in Hue, and some amazing buildings to see. Our driver was very safe and courteous, and did his best to help us through the extremely wet conditions. One thing to note with this experience - it is for a driver only, the driver doesn't come into the various sites with you to explain everything, however he made sure to explain things and tell us what to look for as we got to the stops. We were originally debating on whether to squeeze a stop in Hue into our intinerary or spend more time in Hoi An, and I'm glad we decided to see both cities.

Missleading reviews; not a tour, you are only driven around - We booked this tour after reading at the reviews about the ‘great’ and ‘very knowledgeable’ driver/tour guides. But actually this was not the case - and indeed if you pay attention to what is excluded you will see that a private tour guide is excluded, you are only getting a driver.
We paid 30€ pp (60€ in total) just to be driven between the sites (option for up to 5 sites) by a driver that spoke very broken english (verbal communication was a struggle and he texted using google translate printscreens). We found this price to be extravagant for the service provided, and especially for 2+ people (maybe for a single individual makes more sense as the equivalent taxis/Grabs would probably come close to 20-30€ if you plan to visit many sights). Also, when we understood the issue and tried to book a private guide on site at the Hue Citadel, none were available and we ended up wasting our Citadel tour (cause believe me, a guide makes a HUGE difference for this site).
On another note, if you are fine paying the premium, the driver was very kind and friendly and it was convenient to have someone wait for us at every stop instead of having to wait for a Grab (this is the equivalent of uber btw here in Vietnam). But considering pre-arranging for a tour guide as well, to take in the most out of Hue’s very rich history.
