We did the 3 hour desert quad safari... -
We did the 3 hour desert quad safari with Zoser Travel during our stay in Hurghada 23rd November to 30th November. To be honest, we couldnt fault the trip and we really enjoyed our ride in the dessert. The hotel pick up was spot on time and we were taken to the quad bike centre about 30 minutes from our hotel. We had about 10 minutes of instruction and then allowed to do a test run to see if we were happy with everything. The bikes were all automatic so it was just gas and breaks to master! When you stop at the Bedouin Village there are camel rides which are included in the price but you still need to tip the kids that handle them. There is also tea and shisha if you want it, but we gave that a miss! The trip was obviously bumpy and we were covered from head to toe in sand at the end of the ride. So make sure you have some old clothes to ride in and also remember to take a scarf for your head and face or you will need to buy one from them. You can also buy pictures and DVDs of your ride from them afterwards. Helmets are free but if you want goggles you will need to purchase them at the centre. The staff members were all helpful and pleasant and overall it was excellent value for money. We paid just under 12 each and would recommend it to anyone that fancys doing something a bit different!

Extreme adventure for a granny - This was an optional tour for our group of 15 who were staying at Movenpick Soma Bay. I was a bit reluctant but went along as weather a bit cool for swimming (the only other thing to do here). Take a scarf or you have to buy one for 10 EP (rip off) - anyway after a briefing on safety we were individually wrapped into the scarf (its essential by the way) then a helmet. Onto the quads for a small test run with some needing additional tuition. Then it was off at full speed ahead across hard compacted rutted bumpy desert for 45 minutes - a short stop to get our breath and take a couple of pics. We arrive at a "village" and served local tea, see some ladies making bread (we got to taste it and leave a tip if we took a photo). Included in the excursion was a choice of camel or horse ride before we climbed a hill to view the impending sunset. Back onto the quads for a 45 minute flat out - full speed - bumpy - dusty - ride back to base. I chanced a glance over my shoulder at one point to see an impressive sunset - if only we could have stopped to enjoy it - but we (and about 50 others) had to be back by dark. Look I'm sure the young ones loved every minute but my 67 year old bones did not thank me for it the next day.

Quad Bike Desert Safari - This trip started with us worrying that we had not been picked up from our HOtel. But, after I emailed the provider, I was able to contact them by phone and we were picked up within 5 minutes. There was a short transfer to the Quad bike start where we given clear instructions on how to ride. The Quad Bike safari was great fun and the Quad bikes were in good condition. At the Bedouin village, we were able to ride camels at no extra cost, drank traditional tea and then saw how camel hair is woven into bags, and also saw and handled different snakes. Overall, a really good trip with good value.

I booked this tour for my 11-year... -
I booked this tour for my 11-year old daughter and I. We drove far out to a bedouin village and had a tiny cup of tea, rode a camel and had the chance to smoke a shisha pipe. It was a good experience for my daughter and I.
Good points: There are more than one assistant who drive with the group so if you get stuck along the way or are not a strong driver, they will drive with you.
Bad points: They only include a helmet for the trip. They insist that you have a scarf and goggles, which they provide - at a cost. You have to pay for everything. Even though they insist on you wearing it, none of them wear it. Also, there are about 3 different people taking photographs of you and trying to sell it to you. This was a bit off-putting because these salesmen are persistent! But if you have the cash, go for it.
Great experience, but they need to clean their goggles and maintain their helmets as they are worn and my strap kept coming loose.

For that price it is a decent tour... -
For that price it is a decent tour, however it is in total a super uncomfortable tour cause they use the same paths as every tour before which result a super bumpy ride cause there are small waves of sand/dirt on about 80 of the ride. That causes pain on your butt and back all the time. There is no freedom in driving, you have to be in a column with the others all the time or you will get a warning as I did that if you continue you will be sanctioned by removing you from the tour. I asked why dont they use some other paths cause it is huge desert to avoid the bumps but got no answer. The pick up was 35 minutes late. Me and my girlfriend had diarrhea the same night after the tour and we think that it is from the tea or water they served to us on the brake. I cannot say that it is definitely from it but it was our 5th day in Hurgada and no problems with stomach till then.. So maybe better avoid the tea and the water if you decide to take the tour and take your own bottled water. The camel back riding was ok, quite short, just 1,2 mins. In the end I felt sorry I did it cause of the camels-it is quite obvious that camels dont enjoy it, lots of people doing it so they have to go up and back down from kneeling position who knows how many times a day. If you love and respect the animals dont do it, just skip that part and take a selfie with the camel.

The program says hotel pickup included, it's not - We wanted to participate in the quad safari because it said that the hotel transfer was included (still says in the program plan). however we got a message that they won't come and pick us up, and we should go to the meeting point by ourselves. When I told them that we can't do that, they said that they will refund the money. I booked for 4 people, 2 of which decided to go there by taxi, however we did not want to do that because we felt that it wasn't fair, because they advertised it differently. When I asked a couple days later if the money will be refunded for the 2 people, they just said that we didnt show up so they won't refund it (when before they said that they will refund the money for us). In summary I would not recommend, they falsely advertise and also lied about the refund.

The pick ups were late
When we... -
The pick ups were late
When we got to the where the quads were the briefing was a bit slack.
What spoil t the trip more than anything was the quality of the quads most of them had little or no suspension so the ride was very uncomfortable so much to the degree your body was vibrated that much you felt in pain.
I wouldn't recommend this trip endless the bikes were in better order but your not to know that till you get there.
