Mini Egypt, Maximum Fun! - The trip to Mini Egypt made for a relaxing and entertaining day. The drive there and back was pleasant, the weather excellent and our guide Walid was a top bloke. The park itself is good, especially if you are a fan of scale models but what made the trip worthwhile was chatting with Walid about his country, inspired by the history of the models but also he was happy to talk about other aspects of life which enhanced the whole experience and made it like a day out with an old friend. He also got many of the best photos of our holiday for us.

Fab guide Mohammed - My friend and I picked up from Aqua Blu Hotel greeted by the drivers in an air condition mini bus..we arrived at park 20 minutes later.. Muhammed was our English speaking guide and he was lovely. Showed us around the park and explained each exhibit which related to Egypts most finest monuments ..such as the pyramids,mosques,sphinx,government building,palaces etc all replicated in a small scale..Muhammed got us posing for photographs (see pics ).. No Restaurant open..no camel rides or boating which was advertised in the price.. We did purchase Pepsi or sprite for 2 euros each. Our guide Mohammed made the tour enjoyable and stayed with us all the time..the park tour lasted an hour .
