Experiencing Egypt – A Perfect Vacation - We took so many photos and very beautiful photos!! The tour guide showed us poses what we could do for the photos in front of the pyramids and was also very helpful and took photos of us. He answered the questions, what we asked and was really able to tell a lot and his German was also very easy to understand.

Plane trip to Giza - The trip was great We had a transport organized by company from Soma bay. Driver was on time in both direction. Guide was superb with deep historical knowledge. Lexible and giving valuable advices. Our flight back was a bit late 8.50pm and because last attraction was closed at 4.30 we had to much time to..do nothin.. our guide was trying to fill it but I would advise moving Nile bout trip to the end or something...and add Covilisation museum to program. Anyways worth it an fully recommended.

Indescribably beautiful trip ❤️ - It was a great uncomplicated and above all eventful day. Seeing the pyramids of Giza and Sphinx was simply indescribable. Our guide Ibrahim loves and lives his job and has told us a lot about the history of Egypt. We can just recommend this trip to anyone who thinks about it.

One of the best experiences of my life - It was one of the best experiences of my life. Our guide Ahmed and driver Mohammad were both fantastic and very helpful. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the bus/station were we waited around 30 mins for our bus to take us to Cairo. The bus/coach was a long journey approximately 8 hours with border and other stops. This was the only negative thing I have to say about the whole day. Our passports were taken off us and checked with our visas which we had obtained before the trip this did take a while but once checked we were back on our way to Cairo. Once we arrived in Cairo we were met by our guide Ahmed Waheeb and our driver Mohammad. They were both very friendly and welcoming. Ahmed then took us for our tour around The Egyptian Museum which myself and my partner both loved. Ahmed was extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history and we both found it really interesting. Lots to see in the museum including Tutukamens tomb and his throne. No photos were allowed in this room but everywhere else you could take as many as you wanted. We then left the museum and went to see how papyrus was made which was great. From there it was lunch at a restaurant which was buffet style and really nice (drinks not incuded) you have to pay for any drinks. Then it was on to the Nile boat cruise which was great. Ahmed took photos and did a video for us of the whole day which he did for free. Then it was on to Giza and the pyramids and the sphinx were we went on the horse and carriage to get some fantastic pics of the amazing pyramids. I went on a camel for some pics....when in Egypt 😂 Afterwards we were taken to a scent store were we didn't really want to go if I'm honest. We did tell Ahmed this. We were only there 10 mins then back in the van to drop us off at the airport by our friendly driver Mohammad. The whole experience was made a million times better by Ahmed who was so friendly and his knowledge of Egyptian history is so impressive! Our driver Mohammad also was really friendly and couldn't do enough for you. If you're having second thoughts about booking this trip don't! Just book it! It's the best trip I've ever been on in my life and my reluctant partner who didn't want to go and was only going to keep me happy loved it as much as me! Book now!

Great trip, fantastic guide - It was a great trip. The guide in Cairo Ahmad was fantastic. He was fun and knowledgeable. We learned a lot. Our driver for the day was also nice and funny. As three of us in the group had a later flight, Ahmad and the German guide, i think his name was Markus, got us a seat in a really great restaurant with a view of the pyramids at sunset. All in all a great trip and one i would recommend.

Amazing!! - Sharif was our guide for the day and was excellent & full of knowledge. We were picked up promptly & the organisation of the day was seamless. The day was jam packed with a cruise on the Nile, visit to papyrus museum, museum in Cairo, lunch, perfumery and of course the main event the pyramids and the great sphinx. Enough time was allowed at each venue to not feel as though you were rushed. Unfortunately you are hassled a lot at the pyramids which detracts from the overall experience. However, cannot fault FTS travel and will definitely book with them should we revisit Egypt. Five star excellent!

Unforgetable Experience in Cairo - We had an unforgettable day in Cairo with our exceptional guide, Ahmed Waheeb. He picked us up from the airport and we began our journey with him and our very professional driver, Khaled. Communication before and during the day was excellent; I could easily reach customer service whenever I had questions, and they were always ready to help. Ahmed truly made our trip a lifelong memory. He is a knowledgeable, motivated, and driven guide, as well as a wonderful person. His engaging communication style kept us interested, and he offered great tips for navigating the city. As a bonus, he takes fantastic photos! The trip was well-planned overall. Just a heads-up: if you’re visiting in October, you might only have about 1.5 hours in the museum due to a later flight (9 AM), but this is out of the tour operator's control. Ahmed ensured we saw all the essential exhibits despite the limited time. Thank you very much to the entire team! Highly recommended!

Recommeneded experience to visit Cairo - Wonderful experience visiting Cairo! Picked up right in time in the early morning by the driver to take us to the airport of Hurghada. There we took the 7am flight to Cairo with Egypt air. Getting out of the airport our guide Ismael was waiting for us and we had a personal driver that really took us everywhere we wanted to go. We first went to see the old market place of Egypt with its amazing old Mosques - so beautiful to see and great to have a guide with you who knows the ins and outs of the city and is manageable to answer all your questions about the architecture, history and culture. Being driven through Cairo is also very exciting. After the visit of the old town we went to go on the optional boat ride on the Nile. Which is lovely to do because you see the city from a different side and your guide will make pictures of you all day from every place you visit. The museum is also a must! To see all of the old Egyptian treasures is really breathtaking. During this visit our guide also explained a lot about the pieces you see in the museum. Ita great to get all the ins and outs on a personal level. After this we went to the papyrus shop where they show you how the papyrus was made. Its very interesting. They do like you to buy something from the shop, but ofcourse this is up to you if you do or do not buy something. We did, and were happy to bring something back for us to remember the day by. After this we went for our lunch which was quite a touristic place, but the food is very good and you can eat whatever you like. There really is enough choice! Hereafter we went to see the pyramids and took the optional camel ride where they will take your picture infront of the pyramids. I was terrified on the animal, but its an experience in my opinion, linked to being in the desert and the pyramids. We did not go inside to see the pyramid, the view itself is mesmarizing enough! You will also be brought down to see the sphynx that guards the pyramids and its the most amazing view you will have in your life. After this you're taken to smell some fragrants in a shop, where again they really would like you to buy something. They will also offer you a bevarage and its nice to have a sit in the airconditioning and be smelled some very Egyptian fragrances. I did buy a smaller bottle of the eucalyptus and mint fragrance, because it really opened up my sinusses! The entire experience was great and I really felt safe all the time. They also bring cold drinks in the car for your use all the time, which you really need! And after the day the driver will drop you off at the airport where you will take the flight back to Hurghada. Here the driver to take you to your hotel back will be ready for you again! And we were dropped safely back to our hotel in El Gouna. Great experience and a must if you're visitng Egypt! I mean...how can you visit Egypt and not go and see the pyramids? Then you havent really been to Egypt 😉

Great tour, really enjoyed! - Great tour, would highly recommend booking g via FFS tour operator! Booked this month's in advance and got all the details in advance; Great communication and they were responding to all queries asap The tour was as expected, agent was really keen to make our day as enjoyable as possible, taking masses of photos for us, taking us to cafes and really lovely lunch spot! Been inside of the Great piramyd - would recommend as an experience but you won't see much at the end - very warm and nit for claustrophobic people!😊 Not a big fan of shopping on holiday but be aware you'll be taken to one or two shops of guides choice; guess that is a standard here! Be aware of loads of people begging, pestering you for tip on every corner which, after a few days, gets annoying a bit. Overall, the tour was great and would recommend tour operator for any tours in Egypt!

Good to the end - Our journey from Hurghada to Cairo with FTS started promisingly. The arrival was convenient by plane, and at the airport in Cairo we were picked up directly by our friendly guide and a minibus. Already at the welcome we felt the warmth of the guide who accompanied us throughout the day. Our first stop was the ancient Egyptian Museum, an impressive place full of history and treasures. The guide knew a lot to tell and gave us interesting knowledge about the artifacts and Egyptian culture. Unfortunately, the museum visit passed very quickly, and we hardly had time to view the exhibits in peace. That was a bit of a shame, because we would have liked to stay longer to let the atmosphere have a more impact on us. After visiting the museum we had the opportunity to drive for 15 minutes on the Nile, which cost an additional fee of 10 € per person. Although it was only short, we enjoyed the ride and it was nice to see Cairo from this perspective. Then there was lunch at a restaurant that offered a delicious buffet. The choice was varied, and we were able to taste typical Egyptian dishes that we liked. The afternoon finally led us to the pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. An absolute highlight of the day! Seeing the majestic buildings was an unforgettable experience. We had plenty of time to take photos and admire the impressive architecture while the guide gave us more exciting background information. Unfortunately, an unexpected program item clouded the overall picture of the day. After our visit to the pyramids we went on an unannounced "coffee sales trip". Without being prepared, we had to visit several stores and shops, which did not attract any interest from the whole group. After that followed a visit to a perfume shop and a papyrus shop, where we were forced to make sales presentations. We felt uncomfortable and decided to evade these sales events and go back to the bus. Up to this point, we had found the day to be very successful, but the unwanted sales stops have noticeably depressed our mood. It was disappointing that an otherwise well-organized and informative tour through this commercial aspect lost quality. All in all, the day in Cairo was an interesting experience, especially because of the cultural highlights such as the Egyptian Museum and the pyramids. Unfortunately, the intrusive sales aspect left a negative aftertaste that diminished the impression of the tour. If GetYourGuide were to forgo these additional stops, we could recommend the tour without restriction.
