- Temple of Karnak - Upon arrival in Luxor, you will drive to visit the largest temple ever built, Karnak Temple, which was constructed over 2,000 years and covers an area of about 63 acres. Enjoy taking photos among its massive pillars and obelisks.
- Mummification Museum - Next, you will visit the Mummification Museum, which offers a comprehensive view of the mummification process through the display of various tools, objects, and equipment used in the process. The museum also explains the ritual and religious significance of mummification. Among the exhibits are canopic jars, elaborately decorated coffins, mummified remains, amulets, and statues of deities.
- Luxor Temple - You will then be transferred to Luxor Temple on the East Bank of Luxor, where features from ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic periods are displayed.
- Valley of the Kings - Afterward, you will drive to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs of the New Kingdom carved their tombs into the mountains to hide their treasures and protect their mummies.
- Howard Carter House - Next, you will visit the domed mud-brick house where Howard Carter lived during his search for Tutankhamun’s tomb. The house, surrounded by a garden, has been restored and decorated with pictures and tools from the excavations. An exact replica of Tutankhamun’s burial chamber has been constructed on the edge of the garden, along with an exhibition about the discovery of the tomb.
- Art Valley Alabaster Factory - You will then have the chance to visit the alabaster factory, where people still bring stones from the quarry and shape them into various handmade items, just like the ancient Egyptians did.
- Tombs of the Nobles - Luxor - Next, you will visit the Valley of the Nobles, which contains the tombs of nobles such as Ramose, Senniffer, Menna, and over 400 other Theban nobles. These tombs, nestled in the foothills opposite the Ramesseum, feature beautifully carved scenes.
- Temple of Medinat Habu - Continue to the Temple of Medinat Habu, built by King Ramses III, the last great warrior pharaoh of the New Kingdom (1550 – 1080 B.C.). The well-preserved temple is decorated with military scenes and texts illustrating the king’s victories, as well as rituals and festivals. A royal palace was attached to the temple’s open forecourt, with priests’ dwellings and administrative units on either side. After finishing, you will be transferred back to your hotel or Nile cruise in Luxor.
- Ramesseum (Mortuary Temple of Ramses II) - Proceed to the Ramesseum Temple, the memorial temple of Pharaoh Ramses II, located in the Theban Necropolis in Upper Egypt on the west bank of the Nile, across from modern Luxor. The design of Ramesses’s mortuary temple follows the standard canons of New Kingdom temple architecture.
- Habiba Hand Weaving - Then, you will visit Habiba for hand weaving, specializing in hand-woven scarves made from Egyptian cotton, linen, and wool. Local hand weavers also sell machine-made scarves and shawls made from cotton and cotton blends. Located in a rural setting on the West Bank in Luxor, with views of the nobles’ tombs, you will see women still working and making handmade cloth from pure cotton, experiencing how they use traditional hand-operated machines.
- Colossi of Memnon - End your tour on the West Bank with a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon.
- Hurghada - At the end of the tour, you will drive back to Hurghada.
